He's having this success despite multiple radio stations who still refuse to play his music. I live in Raleigh NC and none of the stations around her have played any of his music outside of a Ryan Seacreast hosted program

I am so sick of radio DJs being so homophobic. They need to start playing Adam more so he can get more success. He deserves more success.

I hate the American radio DJs.

i live in australia and am surprised about the attitude of some of your dj's. am glad my country is so open minded.

Don't "hate" anyone. It is such a draining emotion. It takes 4 times more facial muscles to frown than to smile.

The American radio stations will come around in time.

It is both wonderful and heartbreaking to see Adam's reception in other countries. This is his home country and he is more well-received elsewhere. I have spent all my life within a 30 mile radius of where I was born in a rural area of Alabama. Even with that, I consider myself a little more aware of the world than the majority of the people I deal with on a daily basis since I've traveled extensively. When I come home is when I have culture shock and I'm from here! It's very judgmental and hypocritical because more goes on behind closed doors around here than anyone would ever admit. Yet when someone like Adam has the gonads to be honest, they are shunned. It disgusts me to the point of distraction. I even had a DJ from our top 40 station tell me point blank "we will NEVER play anything Adam Lambert puts out". He is forced to now because of chart ratings, but you can read between the lines anyway. I have always been a little on the fringe but repressed around here. I love Adam because he has made me realize that I don't need anyone's permission to be myself. It's hard sometimes, but as time goes by, it gets easier. I never feel overdressed when I go places now. I prefer to think of everyone else as underdressed;) A lot of small thinkers around me wonder what Adam will do next and experience trepidation. I think about the future events in his life and feel exhilarated, liberated and anxious. I'm definitely along for the ride.

The situation with Adam in the USA is very sad, but your country is ruled by the religious right. Bigots, narrow minded, ignorant people and homophobes. I am a Canadian, and we respect individuality here. We are the first country to certify Adam at Platinum sales , and we love him to death. His private life is none of my business, and my private life is none of his. Thats the way we think here. Adam will prevail, his time in Asia , Europe and Canada has proven that he has moved way beyond the U.S. Elizabeth

I heard Adam's sold over 1 million worldwide already. Can someone confirm this?

Justpeachy, you epitomize exactly what message Adam is trying to get out to young people, i.e. let your colors shine, and be yourself. I have a feeling that you are a person of great character and integrity. Good luck, hun xo Elizabeth

I have to say, if "Pant on the Ground" after only a few weeks can garner that many sales over FYE, WWFM or anything Adam sings--it's a sorry state of things! While I am thrilled Adam continues to sell and the overseas admiration for him is also a welcomed site...I really do not understand the low sales record for FYE...or it's singles. If you look at the sales for Underwood--you just want to scream (or I do!). She always sounds the same no matter what song she is singing and it's mind boggling that Adam isn't racking up those sales himself. sigh. Thanks for doing the digging and posting.
