'If I Had You' tops 250,000 in single sales

The good news for Adam Lambert and "If I Had You" just keeps on coming. According to the newest sales numbers released by USA Today on Wednesday, the third single off of the "American Idol" singer's "For Your Entertainment" has shot up past 250,000 in total sales. In the past week alone, Adam sold 38,000 copies, which is his highest total to date (and a 6% increase from last week).
Adam is also moving toward another grand accomplishment -- when you combine the "If I Had You" sales with that of "Whataya Want From Me", Adam is close to 1.75 million. Though it may take another month or so for it to happen, we could be looking at getting two million copies out there for just two songs.
Both of Adam's songs are in the top three of the single sales chart -- Carrie Underwood's "Undo It" is the only thing separating "If I Had You" or "Whataya Want From Me".
How many copies do you think these two songs will ultimately sell?

I couldn't guess how many they will sell, but Adam is definitely the world's next big music enigma.
i predict again adam lambert is our next elvis presley and michael jackson.(as u know thier animal zodiac sign are the same)even though diffrent year.(physchic lady comment)
I agree with you that he's going to reach the status those two performers did. I'm excited to be able to follow his journey from the start.
I think IF I HAD YOU will sell over a million copies in the end like WWFM. WWFM had the same kind of sales for the first month!!!!
I have converted at least 3 of my friends to buy the song on iTunes. So proud of myself! You should too! Write something about Adam's music on your walls and they will listen to you.
Anon 8:25pm - I've converted quite a few of my friends with two articles I wrote: your power to create, and 15mins until show time as well! It's awesome. In no time all my friends will be on the Adam bandwagon! :P
Can someone tell me how Kris is doing? I'm not trying to start a fanwar but is he doing well like Adam? I don't follow him.. I'm just wondering.

On an aside: Just for fun I went on the HotTopics.com site to see if Adam's tee's were still avaliable and the only thing they had available was his $13.99 Cd (???) Did they not sell well? Did they run out like some fans said they did in some stores. ???? Anyone know? They just announced that AL products would be available on that site a couple of weeks ago didn't they? Not enough time, I would think to test the market??? Anyone have info on this???

The single's been out for one month only and it's sold over 200,000 copies?!! AMAZING!!!!

I'm a Kris fan and I follow him everyday. He's doing really well! His new single is being played on the radio a lot. I smell a big hit.
My guess is WWFM will sell 1.6 million.. If I Had You on the other hand might sell 1 million.. I know it's a little early to say but it's selling slightly less than WWFM and there's no american idol right now to bump up the sales.. But 1 million is great for a 3rd single though

Yeh I just read an article that said FYE was on 330,000 sold, TFM was about 124,000 (can't remember exact figure). And to the person who asked about Kris Allen, The Truth was at 71,000 sold. I thought the figure for FYE was pretty good considering it got pulled from the radio and things.
