Are you kidding me? I have a serious OCD of this song after Adam performed it on idol! Adam's version is just soooo good!:) If the original singers of the song like Adam's version... what can I say, we have good taste!:)

I too became obsessed with Adam whn I saw him on Idol. I"m talking serious OBSESSION! I became a You Tube junky because of Adam. I thought I had died and gone to heaven when I found the Art 4 Life video, and the the Upright Cabaret Videos. I couldn't get enough of HIM. I have been sitting on my computer following Adam every night listening to his music every day since he performed Black Or White. I Have all those videos, plus His new ones from I Tunes. I joined I Tunes because of Mad World - It was beaUTIFUL, AND HAUNTING , AND i JUST HAD TO HAVE IT.

It took them a while but so glad to hear that they are positive about his wonderful resurrection of that song. I have personally bought 3 of their albums since falling in love with his Mad World version - the songs are masterful and so many lend themselves to the kind of message Adam loves. I hope they are getting the sweet feedback to Adam himself. He is so free with his unabashed praise of other artists but it seems to reciprocated in stingy little drabs. There I go, defending him when he probably does not need it. LOLLLLLLL

The original one by Tears for Fears is pretty cheesy, imho, but that's just me. :)

This is my fave version of Mad World, or actually the finale on Idol with the long coat. His voice,every note perfection. His facial expressions were beautiful and filled with just the right amount of emotion. Not over the top, just right. The GNT encore is fine[everything he does is fine!]but the slower version is so haunting and showcases his astounding voice. It absolutely blows me away every time I hear, or even better, see it. Time For Miracles also stops me dead in my tracks when hearing it. There just isn't a word to describe this beautiful gift of a man. I love every note that comes out of his mouth and everything about him. No other entertainer has ever affected me this way, even all of the great ones pale in comparison for me and there are several that I've liked over the years. He is a unique phenomenon and will amaze the world, like no other. funbunn40
