Love Love Love love all you need is love love love love. OMG this man is a genius. I love how he mixes it up different vocals, different styles, different looks wow wow how - so refreshing in the music industry today. He is fab and so what if occasionally he has a bit of an off day with a slightly off note (ps even his slightly off notes are fantastic). If you are an AL fan you buy into the whole package - that is what I say - he can serve it up to me how he wants and I am all ears.

All the negative bullshit about Steven Tyler is just yet ANOTHER example of how this fandom CREATES issues out of NOTHING! THIS is why people hate us and think we are all OOBER FREAKS (in a bad way). Just sayin...

Steven Tyler ROCKS MY PANTS!

Hi Delilah5 and I second the comment made by Anon. March 12, 2011 2.01AM.

There are those who adore Adam's album version of Aftermath, others who are crazy about his acoustic version and those who are in love with his remix rendition, as well as people who love all three versions but people shouldn't be trashed because their opinion differs from others.

I know that Adam's performance on AI wasn't perfect, but what does it really matter? Even when he is a bit "off", Adam Lambert is better than every other performer in the music industry today. Perfect example was Diddy...what was that? I understand he didn't even go to meet the contestants whereas Adam went to each one and even had some pictures taken. What better person to listen to for some words of wisdom than from an individual who had been in their place two years ago. It takes more than vocal talent to be successful; charisma, self-confidence, stage presence are all qualities that Adam has that make him so special to all of his fans. Adam's performance of AFTERMATH was beautiful, sincere, and so heartfelt. I hope the remix does well for him and the Trevor Project. Now I would love to see him on some of the Talk shows to promote this song and the project.

I have been watching this video on repeat. Adam is so joy-filled and he makes me smile. He was amazing. His vocals were perfection and his look...oh my. :)

It looked like after Adam turned and aknowledged the band members that he turned back and almost tripped over the speaker on the floor. That's when he and Seacrest did the foot on the speaker position. I suspect the looks that some are commenting about on JLo's and ST's faces at that point was...oh, @#$%...is he going to trip on the speaker. Nice recovery Adam! Yes, clearly I have watched this too many times! ha!

Adam was awesome as usual. And, although I don't normally like remixes, I really do love the Aftermath remix! :)

@8:05 Are you sure we are not married to the same person? You described my husband perfectly. Not only would he not watch the performance on Thursday, he won't watch IDOL at all any more since I went bonkers over Adam. Don't know what to do about it. Can't change my feelings!!! glamnut

Adam is beautiful...voice, heart and soul.
Some critical snarly ones leaving comments here.

I am disappointed with some of the overly critical comments. How easy to judge someone else. How many of this thread's critics can stand in front of millions and sing like a song bird. Hmmm...just as I thought. Not a one.

This performance was from his heart and soul to promote a remix that is for the benefit of those young people who are questioning who they are, are bullied and some getting to the point of even taking their lives. As the song says "have you lost your way?"... To judge others? Wow. Did ya miss the message? His effort is to try to save children of the world who feel alone and hopeless.

Let's put this all in perspective people.
Adam is a gem and he's doing it perfectly.

Sometimes I am confused reading the comments from those who profess to be fans of Adams. I know we don't need to agree on everything, but Adam is really all about LOVE and ACCEPTANCE. Why is it as fans that we have become so critical and judgemental. It doesn't seem to be in keeping with Adam's basic philosophy of kindness. Intrigues me.

This thread has criticized Adam as a singer...a note that sounded off key. Then moved on to a facial expression of ST and JL...they didn't smile enough, didn't clap enough...what in the world is all that about????

When we can get on stage on do better than Adam, we can comment on a "note" here or there. When we attack a judge for no reason, that comes from a dark place inside one's self.

Time to look inside...

I love being part of the Glamberts generally. It's all about the love. But when it turns ugly I prefer to enjoy and appreciate Adam on my own...without all the nitpicking judgmental comments.

Love, people...love. :)

I comment often, but don't signature alot. I will this time.

@Cindy. Hi, dear. I got both of your responces. Thank you. This is very important for me to get some support and understanding. Love you.
@anon 6:20 I didn't say that I don't like accoustic version of "Aftermath" As a matter of fact I found it more beautiful than original. And Adam looked absolutely amazing. One of my friends even didn't recognise Adam when I opened on line the pictures of Adam which they made during performance! She didn't see Adam for while and said that he looks amazing, beautiful sexy and healthy:)LOL
Like I said my comment wasn't about the song. I just felt very sad when I saw ST and JLo reaction.
Anyway, I know that I don't have to be so emotional. And it seems like press doesn't care about judges reaction. Some of the publishers don't like performance, but most of the reviews which I read today are saying about Adam TRIUMPH on this show and that Adam vocals can be compare only with Freddie Mercury. Nobody else had 4 octaves vocal. Nobody else can scream the rock songs like "We Are the Champtions" and after this suddenly melts everybody hearts with ballads like 'Who Wants To Live Forever" or "Aftermath" with soft crystal clear voice.
In one article they mentioned Kris Allen name as singer who won AI but never has such success and World Fame like Adam has. Or doesn't have any success at all.
I think it was to hard on Kris:) but everybody know that this is the truth.
I love Adam forever and always will be one of his biggest fans.

@ Urethra Franklin... BWahhaaahhhaaa... backatcha!! (Me too, but true aint it?? lolol)

@ 7:51 & Mom from Toronto... sigh, I think I agree....

LOVED how soft and controlled the last line was, especially coming off the big powerful rock scream...
Adam the magnificent in all his understated glory always manages to change it up and entertain us with something a little different, and always beautiful...
