Do you know how high is Adam's standard? I have faith in him.

I'm so excited for the new album....I hope he releases it this summer so I can jam to it all summer.

Anonymous said...

I'm being as patient as I know how and am encouraged by some of the people he's working with. Though I never knew her before I have become a real Nikka Costa fan and of course Ryan Tedder is supergreat.

I'll just remind myself "Patience obtains everything"....that was from a St Teresa's bookmark my best friend from college days had tucked into her sunvisor in her car. We took it as our mantra......though in our case we were mostly praying for a date to the prom......JAK

I'm curious, who is Nikka Costa? Was she a friend of Adam's before Idol? What kind of music does she do? Can anyone reccomend a song of hers to listen to?

Anonymous said...

I'll be as patient as I can RockGod, Adam Lambert! Your music is definitely worth waiting for and I see you are working hard at creating a perfect sophomore album.

Happy Passover to you too,Adam, and to all your family! I hope you are going to enjoy a wonderful Seder tonight.

Listen to Push and Pull by Nikka Costa. She has a very good voice and their are other songs can't remember. Just google her. Adam is a true perfectionist so if we have to wait just a little longer than anticipated it will be well worth it. It will be hard because we are so excited. I know in my heart this second album and Adam will be iconic. I have total faith in Adam. It think it was so nice to tweet this to us!

Adam p l e a s e do not go the way of all the
pop tarts and do the electronic oh-oh-oh-oh stuff
that makes tham all sound alike. Keep your uniqueness and sing your notes not electronic
sound-alikes ok.
Fan of yours, truly. XXX

Listen to Like a Feather and Everybody Got Their Something, and Push and Pull and that will give you good range of her styles. She was a singer as a child and was fantastic. I would like to see her perform with Adam, she's got "moves" too! JAK

@6:22 No need to worry about overproduced sounds. Adam said in an interview it will be first and foremost about the vocals. The songs will come from the heart and be a little more leather less glam. I'm thinking a more rock and /or soul sound. We have to have faith that Adam knows exactly what he is doing. He is a very smart man.

@ 6:35
I agree with you. But it will be at least another 6 months. We all will be so excited when we can order it.
I am also anxious to hear what happens in the fall, to Sauli. But again we have to be patient.

I love FYE but I really hope Adam goes into a different direction for this new album. Also, I hope Adam does another outrageous album cover.

Bing said...

Here i go again sounding like a broken record. IMHO, FYE is a excellent debut album with not 1 nor 2 nor 3 nor 4 but 10-12 great materials in it. Is it any wonder at all why his songs in FYE are being used around the world in countless ways, but then again to each his own. FYE is so unique that it has a song for everyone and i can't even make up my mind which is my favorite because it would always change depending on my mood.

Now with all his experiences in the past years, he must have studied thoroughly the intricacies of the music business and i am ready to embrace whatever changes he would infuse in terms of style and strategy as long as the immaculate vocals are the. I know in my heart that his artistry will be intact but i am so excited for the changes he will bring into his second album.

I trust you enough Adam and i firmly believe that you will never fail your global fans with this next project. I am eagerly looking forward to the international tour and might as well start saving for the next expenses in line LOL! So take your time Adam and create the most wonderful music that your heart so desires. ILYSM!

Bing said...

Ooooops i was meaning to say that many of his songs in FYE are being used and NOT ALL. Sorry about that :)

IMO, Adam made WWFM in one day while he was doing AI tour and it became a hit around the world. I totally believe Adam's second album will be a mega hit around the world. True, we are so anxious to have it. But we know Adam is a perfectionist and he wants to create a great album. I love FYE and I still play it to this day but I have a feeling that Adam no. 2 will melt everyones heart and soul. Love you Adam!

I have a feeling Adam2 would be explosive, OTT PoP songs with very edgy dark blue rock ballads. Actually, it doesn't matter what Adam sings, he has a very unique rich sexy voice that would make any songs sound much much than we think. Just look at his AI and GNL performances. We are so lucky to have him in our lifetime!!

Some people were wondering whether Adam's in LA - seems like he was out in LA last night.

@Eva 3:40 AM

Thanks dear for the Keyboard link!
Very nice and wise comments! Adam is appreciated among so many "appreciated" musicians and artists. AMA and other things are vanishing from peoples minds and Adam reaches the appreciation what he earns. Adam is funny, loving, charming, witty person to be with in studios and parties etc. He brings light, love and brilliant ideas to other people around. He is a real treasure!

Perhaps someone could explain this tweet from Dadbert Eber to a stupid Swede. What is Elijah´s wine? Is Neil the sceptical kid?

"I confess to stealthily drinking Elijah's wine all those years. One kid dug the magic of it, the other knew it was some sort of gimmick."

@Ronnie
It was a joy reading that, wasn´t it? There is so much doom and gloom and Sad.Als around that you forget that Adam is one of a kind and will do just great in whatever he choses to do.
And the fact that he is so liked and loved by those he meets and works with speaks for it self. I read one tweet that was like: "Adam Lambert is very cute in person. I´m shocked."
I think that was tweeted by a man. I wonder what he was expecting.
Ha de!
Eva

Anonymous said...

Thanks for that link, Eva! It's very encouraging. I think the most important point made is that Adam does not have to fill stadiums on every tour in order to become a tremendous success. Some of the stadium-fillers don't last that long. Adam is part of the LA commmunity, has respect and knows important people who like him. I'd rather see Adam have a long, fulfilling career than see him fill football stadiums and then fade out in a few years. (not that I wouldn't love to see him fill stadiums, but you get my point). I'm so glad that he is getting support and attention from his peers in the business.

On that Idol poll it´s Adam against Ruben Stoddard. I can´t imagine Ruben has such a devoted fan base that he can be so close to Adam. My guess is that fans of other Idols vote AGAINST Adam. We have seen that before. On Faxo, Bucky Covington(!?) gets lots of votes. One or two fans are constantly spamming the comment board, but I don´t think that should make non-fans vote for him if it wasn´t Adam Lambert they voted against. Adam F***ing Lambert, the annoying one always on top. Sure, they get pissed!

Hey Eva,
On Passover Eve (which was last night) we Jewish people have a ceremonial dinner, and part of the tradition is leaving a glass of wine for the prophet Elijah, and leaving the front door slightly open for him, because he visits all homes during this evening, and sipps some of the wine.
Eber is clever not to tell us who's who, and leave it for us to guess who's the suspicious cynical kid, and who's the one that believed in magic...
And now you're a wise Swede ;)

@ Cassie

Thank you so much! Your free lesson to Eva totally fits my Christian ignorance and curiosity. I love to learn.

@ Anon. 6:54AM

I truly hope sweet Adam doesn't waste his precious time «learning» the right(?) spelling for his WOAH or your WHOA. It's just a sound meaning kind of admiration or surprise. Not important, or it would come in my dictionary, and it doesn't. In Brazil, our Portuguese language spells it «Ă”a» or «OĂ”A» or «UĂ”A», doesn't matter at all. But you made me kind of curious... how would we spell it in swahili, or swahile, or even suarrily???
Do you know? HUM? (or it would be UM? or even UHM?)

Fan4fun said...

@ Sorry, incorrect spelling... my comment above is to «Anon. 6:59AM», not 6:54AM. Lol

Bing I like your comments! His FYE CD was amazing in my book. I think the CD in over all for how long it took was a masterpiece. As far as the over production have you ever heard Britney her voice is not the vocal point. I truly think that was the only negative about the CD in my opinion All the songs were an A statis. I think he got robbed in the fact that less songs were released as singles. I truly think songs like Fever,Music Again, Sleepwalker, Soaked, and Sure Fire Winners could have made it on the charts. I will always wonder why they were not but yet in other country's they were. If anyone out there has a logical explanation to that I would love to hear your input. Sporting events, skating events, etc use his music all the time. Mmmmm just asking the masses for your imput??

I hope Adam "lurks" here on 24/7.

Just to hear Adam say he is EXCITED and wants his next album to have the right amount of "cooking" time b/4 he releases it - will mean PERFECTION!

The amazing producers and song writers/singers he has worked with so far is astounding. Adam keeps saying this album is being created right from his heart.

Ryan Tedder believe's Adam "core" is a natural born rocker. Adam loves & praises Sia. Their collaboration will most likely be a very very very compassionate love song.

Adam & Nikka Costa collab - will be great! The snipit on utube was hysterical!

Adam is having a blast with this album. Sauli makes him soo happy and inspired as well -- Adam's heart is FULL.

Adam is a non-comformist - he wants originality and pushes the boundaries. As fans, we will wait patiently and remain devoted for life.

Adam just sharing "tweets" to keep his fans "in the loop" of his creativity processes just makes us love him all the more!

Thank you for the explanation. It is like leaving porridge on the stairs for Santa on x-mas.
One should think it would be Neil who dug the magic, since he´s younger but perhaps he´s born a sceptic.
