MTV Discusses Adam Lambert's Mysterious Facial Hair

We can all agree that this is amazing, yes? I mean, granted it's a STRONG look and rather jarring in that there is no where in the room/world where Adam Lambert's eyes aren't following you but as two-colored giant pompadours go, this is kind of a perfect one. Upon a cursory glance he looks like an enormous surprised cockatoo that has perhaps gone to the Dark Side but when you truly study this image—given that there's no way to tear your eyes away once you're locked in the magical tractor beam of Lambert's version of Blue Steel—you realize that this dude comes in peace. And will not attempt to tie you to a railroad track despite you wearing a white eyelet tiered dress and matching bonnet that would look SO AMAZING tied to a railroad track. Like, it would make the cover of the lookbook for sure.
And while there are at least 12-33 jokes that could be made about the fact that it looks like Adam chose a stencil from some vast collection to create the perfect symmetry of his down-curved 'stache but Dorito chin patch that he just had to then spraypaint on (careful not to get it in his eyes) each individual face follicle actually appears to have been MASCARA'D instead. That, my friends, is devotion, pain and care and should be noted and admired. Plus, just LOOK at the dead exacting arch of his brows and the truly masterful eye makeup. The reason this whole *360-degree around the world snap* situation is so mesmerizing has everything to do with the fact that his eye shadow and lashes work in concert to draw your attention to the GORGEOUS gray-blue hue of his eyeballs. This is not amateur status and not to be attempted at home. Or can be attempted at home. But, to where you don't go out and just stay there. Preening.

I thought it was drop dead gorgeous when I first saw this look last week. While the pros and cons flew around the net, I absolutely loved this look. Not many could pull it off, as MTV says. Adam rocks this look and all others he tries. He is truly this generations Glam God Rocker. Has no equals.

My first OUT LOUD adjective re Adam (way back more than 2 years ago) was UN-effin-BELIEVABLE (his VOICE), then came GORGEOUS (his looks) and MESMERIZING (his eyes & persona), and then I knew that no amount of adjectives put together could ever SATISFACTORILY describe this man (the total package of his royal gorgeousness), so I just kept repeating OMFG, OMFG, sounding as lost as Icon's boy friend “What? I loved this look on Adam...well, just because it was one of his many "looks"! I love that it was just a little taste of Mr. Super-Sauve, and now it's gone! Blink, and you'll miss it.
This article was hysterical...yes, the pompadour was HUGE and immaculate (LOVE the streaks), the eye shadow was perfectly coordinated to match his eyes, the 'stache and goatee were manicured within an inch of their lives and the whole look, together, was totally OTT. Just how Adam wanted it to be, I'm sure. His tongue is tightly in cheek. Love this boy for keeping people talking and not taking himself so seriously that he can't parody himself with some crazy, off-the-wall, OTT fashion statement.

His blue eyes are def. something ELSE! He locked on to my gaze at GNT and it felt like hot steel boring through me! He is very photogenic but he's altogether something else when you see him in person--dressed to Entertain. You can't take your eyes off of him!
Finally others getting what us fans have know for months. Adam is the sexiest man on the planet hands down. Thank goodness the waters have calmed the word "G_Y" is finally not the precurser to every article. That Adam Lambert the human being with talent and grace is finally what they are talking about and so excepting of Sauli too. I couldn't be happier for him, his fans and friends and family. We are doing it we are opening the eyes of so many. Thanks Adam you are truly the greatest. It is getting better.
Well it can be truly said that Adam is never boring. He morphs from one look smoothly into another. I can't promise to always love the "looks" but will always love Adam. He's talented and amusing. There seems to remain the little boy "Hey, look at me" joy.....Fun...JAK
