WoW! She seems not know Adam. I thought the Voice want Adam to perform and that's what I get from their tweet not long ago. The Couches sing Crazy and Queen songs and those are all sang by Adam before. Maybe its only for drawing attention by using Adam's name. After I've seen Xtina sing on The Voice, I am glad the duet only a rumor. The Xtina that Adam want to duet has long gone!!!

She's so pretentious...Ugh. I used to like her music though. 'Beautiful' was amazing. But now she acts all almighty and stuff.

Ya, I didn't really like the way she answered that, she could of say no but that would be a great idea like adam said. Please,she knew about the rumors, it's been all over the internet and twitter!

She hesitated like political folks do, and the aahhhh gave her time to think. She also looked down while thinking, that means she lied, or not going to commit to interviewer. (I took eye and body language for Real Estate when I was with Century 21.) I'm sure she knows of Adam.

Yes, 10:35! Her tone was pretty snotty, as if, "ME, duet with HIM?" Like he's below her or something. She acted like she never heard the rumor, which MIGHT be true, but unlikely. Her attitude of rejection is awfully bitchy.

I heard her sing "We Are The Champions" & she sucked big time! Haley R. sounds better. Maybe CA is losing her edginess. & I felt a lil disturbed by her short interview here, for whatever reason it nay be, just thought did she forget who Adam was? If Adam still wants to duet with her , fine by me.

There were tweets about Adam performing on The Voice when XtinaTeam sent out the question to fans, "Who would you like to see perform on The Voice?" The responses were overwhelmingly Adam Lambert. Also, a tweet was sent from XtinaTeam that "Adam is probably one of the best male voices of our generation, don't you agree?" Maybe Xtina personally didn't send the tweet but someone from her "team" did.

I don't think Xtina will do a duet with Adam Lambert any time soon.. She seems to be very competitive when it comes to her powerful voice. Adam would be the first to out sing her.

In an earlier interview when she was promoting her last album, someone asked her if she knew Adam had mentioned he wanted to duet with her. I recall she def was aware WHO Adam was and had replied in a favorable way "leaving the door open".

In this interview she did not DENY knowing Adam at all. But, she could have given a far better answer. Especially since she obviously is ware of who Adam is and her team received overwhelming response to the question of WHO they would want to perform on The Voice.

I am kinda upbeat about the possiblity that a duet could happen with them. Sia is working with Adam now on a song for his new album. Sia is also helping Xtina mentor her team on The Voice.

Going out on a limb here - but Sia would not be working with Adam if there was not a mutual respect for each other's talents. I bet Sia may have already told Xtina about how talented Adam is.

True, Xtina is a diva, and could have answered the question in support of Adam -- but I want to give Xtina the benefit of the doubt at this point in time.

Let's see if they actually invite Adam on THE VOICE to perform. Once Adam MEETS Xtina - she will also succumb to his charm and talent.

It is just a matter of time.

11:45, you are right about the sales. Adam might be the best singer in the room, but it means nothing unless his new CD sells really well. It gives him credibility to other artists and will open up his chances to work witl big names. The music biz is cutthroat and just because he's good, it doesn't mean much without the sales. Don't like divas. A couple of days before the studio week in London, Ginny Blackmore tweeted something like this: "A tough week ahead in the studio, sigh..." Then the week with Adam was finished and miss Blackmore suddenly deleted her tweet. Adam turned out to be a "lava flow" and miss Blackmore felt herself a "princess". That what happens with Adam. LOL! Yeah, she didn't pretend she didn't know Adam, she just acted as if she hadn't heard the rumor. But of course she would have seen Sia's tweet about the rumor, so that was just a lie.

But seriously, puleeze, Adam's version of "We are the Champions" done WITH Queen and Kris Allen during the finale of his season was so much flat-out better than Xtina's, it isn't even funny! She is kind of losing her voice these days, I haven't been impressed by her performances on the Voice at all.

Also, a girl that age should NOT be using that much botox. It's crazy. Her face ain't moving at all.

I thought at the time Jordin sparks dueted with Chris Brown, he was very A-list and still worked with her? With all the A-list aduration, Xtiana last album not only flopped in the USA, but all around the world. I bet that is the reality of the present time i.e. Adam outperformed her in the same competitive period. I don't think that Adam Lambert will be invited on THE VOICE to sing with Christina. He would outsing her and I am sure that Adam Levine doesn't want him on either. Both of these coaches are too full of themselves and after listening to their performances on the first Live show of THE VOICE this week, neither one of them would want the best vocal talent in the music industry today to be on their show. He would have "blown them away" as previously said. With his second album I hope Adam Lambert gets the recognition and success that he so deserves.

Well Christina's last album didn't exactly set the world on fire. But she has been around long enough to see herself as a Diva, which no doubt she does. Amazing what reality TV does for people fading, think Jlo, now Christina. What I like about Britney is she is who she is.

Obviously not good on the fly. Didn't answer very well for either question. On a second voice? I hope but to early to tell! Or let's hope and see! Other question about Adam just plan said I haven't heard that one! Not pretend like she has never heard the name before. Adam has been in the news in the last two years more than her. Did not like her attitude at all. (Also did not like her singing or her costume for her recent performance on The Voice.) If she doesn't get her act together, she may not even be invited back for Season 2. She knows who Adam is and she knows he is a better singer than she is. I don't think she wants the comparison.

In the music biz, you're only as good as your last album and single sales. Christina's album and singles all flopped. She only sold a small portion of what Adam did last year.

So she can climb down off that high horse any time now.

As I said on a previous thread, I wanted to like Christina sinfing Queen, but I hated it. She was good but now I think she is a mess. I agree with 3.23 her out fit was beyond bad. Maybe Adam still sees or hears something in her that I dont, but she doesnt seem to be very nice toward him.
She did just hesitate and say she hadnt heard the rumour not that it wasnt happening, who knows?
We need somw real news and performances from Adam to enjoy. All this speculation is driving me nuts.

I used to LOVE xtina. Did not like her response as if she did not ever hear of Adam Lambert. She shows great insecurity about herself actually. Adam can compliment any artist because he knows who he is and what he is. I love that man so much: class, beauty, brains, mega talent, THE VOICE, and on and on. xtina who? Don't be afraid to compliment Adam xtina - you still have millions of fans-geezzz!!

3:51 -- That's it exactly. Adam Lambert knows who he is as an artist and is not afraid to compliment other singers. The same cannot be said for everybody.

I remember when Adam was on one of the entertainment news programs (ET, I believe), and he was in the studio, and they were asking Christina Aguilera (via satellite) about singing a duet. She said "Adam just say the word." This was over a year ago or so. Anyway, frankly, I know she sings beautifully, but she is anything but a beautiful person. She is a major league beeoootch, and I'm surprised that Adam overlooks her personality when he mentions how much he would love to sing with her. Anyway, this clip doesn't show her at her worst, but she is still a jerk, and always will be. Adam is so classy...great singers, both of them, but difference of night and day in the personality department.

If I was Xtina I would not want to do a duet with Adam after reading this thread. He likes her and would love to sing with her and that is what matters. Sometimes we rip other artist a new one, and Adam does not like that, remember? He will be scolding us again. Adam can sing with people and he has, even if he has to tone it down, not to over shadow them.

Adam would not be happy with most of these comments about XTina but her response really took us by surprise. I'm hoping she was surprised when the name Lambert was mentioned and not Levine. Regardless, Adam would love to duet with XTina and we should respect his wishes and be more supportive, regardless of our personal feelings toward XTina.

OMG you guys cut Xtina a break - her hesitation/confusion was with "Lambert" not Adam - because she in fact is doing a duet w/ Adam "Levine". It was just announced today.

I thought I read the other day that the GNT DVD had sold about 28,000...if memory serves me. Almost to Gold. But then again, it is my memory and that should always be held in question. :)

I didn't mean to be hard on Xtina, but when Adam Lambert's name was mentioned, could she not have said - I'd love to sing with him in the future - what a great singer! I guess I'm just used to Adam's great, quick on his feet, interviews and leave it there. It's what Adam wants that counts.

I don’t think Adam would outsing Xtina. She has an extremely powerful voice. I think they’d sing to complement each other, not to outsing each other – that’s not what a duet is all about.

Furthermore, Adam is a fan of Xtina and he’s said he’d love to duet with her. However, I don’t think he’d be happy if he were to read the comments here. It reflects badly on him when his fans bag other artists.

i never liked christina aguillera, i think her bad attitude is due to her upbringing. i will never waste my single cent to buy her record.

And so what if Adam does not get to sing with her? Somebody trying to revive her music career (sp) just like Jlo using the reality TV route? Some of you are making her into some sort of demi god Adam needs to have a recording career. He did well without her the first go and I am very sure he would continue to do well without her too.
Finally, Adam does not own my brain even as his stan, so I can adore or critique who I want with no consideration to what Adam wants me to do.

To me, Xtina only has a strong voice but not powerful like Adam. Do you really like the way she sing recently? I try to listen, her tone sound rough and blunt and her riff completely destroy the melody of the songs. And I am totally agree with Anon 5:08AM.

and I'm sure she is quite well aware of how luke warm her "Bionic" sales were and doesn't rule out anything summarily... although, having said that, I do feel way down deep in my gut that she feels way down deep in her gut that Adam is unblievabley talented and that might scare just a wee little bit, not a lot cuz she's amazing, but she'd have to be on her best game to duet with him, I think that's a fair way to put it with out being all adam-centric, which I am, we tend to be, lol. The posters upthread who said that Adam needs to get some killer sales going w/ album #2 to move up another step on the ladder are right on the money IMHO

There is so something in the works. That was a classic dodge, but poorly executed. Mark my word, the wheels are turning somewhere for some sort of Xtina/Lambert collaboration, and she was just trying to evade the question.

Whether Adam sings a duet with Christina or not, with the greatest respect, it is his singing career I'm interested in, not hers. However, Christina has amazing vocal chords and "Bound To You" is testament to her vocal prowess.

I'm not so familiar with CA so i wouldn't like to prejudge her. She has not said any bad word against Adam so I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt. If she is busy right now, it could be true that she isn't aware of the rumors circulating.

@ANONs June 9 at 3:43PM & 11:20PM- thanks for your posts because that makes a lot of sense to me. It is Adam's wish to sing with her so i hope it still happens someday. We've seen Adam in several duets and professional singers avoid to outsing their partners. If that duet would make Adam the happiest person, then i'm all for it.

Well....I finally watched the little video of Xtina talking about Adam..The thing is, she was asked out of the blue about the rumor and really all she did was answer the question. I didn't read anything into her comment. She just wasn't prepared for the question and answered honestly, and that was it.

I don't get why so many commenters above are so critical of her. She is a beautiful and a talented singer. She's had some bad moments lately ("The Star Spangled Banner" faux pas..I'm sure she was mortified when she forgot the words for a moment...other than that, I thought she did a great job.). LIfe is like that sometimes. Nobody is perfect, not even Adam..(But he is soooo close! LOL!!) I think she is an amazing singer and I can understand why Adam is so in awe of her voice.

I loved her in "Burlesque" (I own and frequently listen to the soundtrack album) and the song from that movie, "Bound To You", is just incredibly beautiful and romantic. I can't imagine that she would be afraid to sing with Adam because she can definitely hold her own, and I don't think she was dissing or dismissing Adam at all in this video clip. If they ever actually DO sing a duet, I'm sure it will be an epic moment in music, as they have two of the best voices out there (in Adam's case THE best ; ) ), equally powerful and fabulous..Guess we'll just have to wait and see. But like everyone else, what I'm REALLY anxious to hear is Adam's new music!
