@ 6:25pm, my hubby ,sigh, almost 50s, still play sword fighting with my 2 boys, scream and roll on the floor and drive me nut sometimes but they are freaking happy at those moments. I know if the world suddenly end, we will have no regrets.

Anon 8:21 omg, talk about being ignorant.. Homosexuality and sexual identity disorder are two completely separate things. Homosexuality means you are just attracted to the same sex, it doesnt mean they have a problem with accepting their own gender. Most gay men are happy about being male.

Hi and ohoy! Sorry you all wonderful that you’ve had to wait for a year… Now I’ve rested a couple of days after the burning man and my mind is getting refreshed. I’m already thinking about starting a new fast because the energy levels were so good after that, but the burning man took all my energy, heeelp! And yes, now it's probably a good idea to explain to you what the burning man really is. That didn’t really become clear in mine and Katri’s tutka… At least Katri was totally out of if… hahah! So, it is a one week long festival held in the Nevada desert at the end of August and beginning of September. The festival culminates on the last night, when a wooden doll (burning man), the height of which is over 10 meters, is burnt. The size of it is insane! Also other really insanely large structures are burnt at the festival, for example a big temple that is rebuilt every year. The festival was born in 1986 in San Francisco and moved to Nevada in 1990. About 65 000 people participate in the event and the aim is to stay there without leaving traces to the nature, so everything you take there with you, you have to bring back, garbage included.

You go to Burning Man by car, and the trip from Los Angeles takes about 11 hours, but considering the heavy traffic and traffic jams, it can take 20 hours there and even more back. I, of course, flew right there and avoided that horrible drive. By air the trip takes about 2 - 3 hours, so that was nothing. We flew as group in a small plane that had four seats… It was smaller from the inside than a car and there was so little space on the backseat that you had to sit with your knees in your mouth. Sauli has never been so scared, especially as the flight was really bumpy, and it did already come to mind that this is the end. The best thing before the flight was that before we boarded the plane, on that same airfield a small plane had crashed into a house while landing and there was even a big story about it in the news. So you can think what it felt like to get on the way. But a smile on your face, God in mind and trousers on…

We got alive to the site and the view was awesome from the air. In this picture that round circle is the burning man event. The event is always built according to the same pattern and that circle represents a clock. People get maps in their hands when they arrive so that they know how to navigate in that labyrinthine circle. I, at least, got lost there about a hundred million times, but in the end it’s easy to move around there once you get that clock system. (For me it just took a while). I myself was camping at eight o’clock, but somehow I always found myself on a totally different timezone…

There at the event you move by bikes or with tuned cares. Everyone had such strange looking contraptions which they used while moving that I was totally flabbergasted… Also, you always have to protect your eyes and mouth well because there in a sandstorm you can’t move around without proper gear. Once I went riding on a bike to the other side of the clock without any protection and oh, how much I coughed… It didn’t work at all with my whole throat and eyes full of sand… I’m really making this sound like a totally awful happening, but this was really the best week of my life EVER! At nighttime this place looks so fabulous and totally different! Whoah! Lights are flashing here and there and tuned cars and bikes are full of lights, and music is blazing everywhere!! I’ve never danced as much as during this week…

The days are totally different from nights… Everybody is taking it easy and you can go to a massage, yoga, or even looking at the art… There are different stations where you can go and have a beer or a little stronger drink… Everything is free and included in the ticket price, but it’s also a good idea to buy something for the others. The place is full of friendly people and everybody’s happy. This community is called one big family, you see. It doesn’t matter how you dress up, you can even stay naked if you like. There are no rules!! You can express yourself as much as you like or do whatever you like. How cool is that??!! Wut? In the evening you can go and watch the flame show or unbelievable circus numbers… You can dance everywhere and usually the best parties are on top of the cars!! Here’s our happy motley crew.

However, now I’m back in the city of angels and the dust and sand from the burning man has been shaken off. The whole week there in the desert was rough, for sure, but I wouldn’t change one day of it! I’ve slept now for three days in a row and I’m sure you know what’s waiting…? Healty life and maybe even that fast… maybe??

(Boy)Friends can come and go, but usually family stays. Adam calls Sauli his family now. At one time Adam said his biggest fear was growing old alone. Haven't heard him say that anymore (after Sauli came around).

Nobody knows what future holds, but they sure look like a match made in heaven and I wish them all the best. Both have such sunny, kind & loyal personalities, in many ways they are quite similar.

BM not only hot and dusty, but the environment is horrid. Why do you think everyone is partying 24/7 while there. Pretty difficult to take the heat, sand, wind, and desolation if you are not bagged or stoned. That hat looks like it has seen better days. LOL

I agree with 11:43, the only way to enjoy that atmosphere is being drunk or drugged. Remember that's where Adam says he had his epiphany about doing something with his career, i.e going on AI. That's when he went with Brad Bell (Cheeks). Smoking mushrooms or something else he said. If you check old pics Adam is with Brad who he was madly in love with at the time. Remember his songs about loving and losing well he was writing about his own experience. I do think its strange a grown man still wanting to dress up and do this stuff. However, instead of driving he went on private plane, I guess that's what different this time, more money, I wonder who paid for the plane! However, he did say he didn't start enjoying his life until he was in his twenties so I guess he is catching up. Also, agree with another comment Sauli should lay off makeup not attractive at all but maybe Adam likes him to look girly. Wonder what Sauli's parents think about all this, I think
Adam has a big influence on how Sauli dresses and acts now. I have a feeling he wouldn't be wearing makeup and doing all this stuff in Finland.

From Juneau and Xena's blog today: Adam's Red Pants at Burning Man (in picture above..) made a VERY prominent appearance in his "I Make You Crazy" video from his Art For Life 2008 performance, seen here in Lambosessed's "Remastered" version...I saw this early on in Adam's Idol Season 8 run, and I think it may have been instrumental in my,...er..., appreciation of Adam and his ability to entertain..and my quickly developing life as an Adam Lambert fan..In addition, its Blond Adam!

Well, just because we "grow up" and reach the ripe old age of thirty, doesn't mean we should give up the things that give us a sense of adventure, purpose, and pleasure. Not to mention, doing things that we LOVE! I'm beyond 30 and I think Burning Man sounds like a huge amount of fun (other than the no shower part..). It has a great sense of fun, creativity, community, freedom of expression, theater, etc.. Its certainly not for everyone, but Adam has been surrounded by people who think in similar ways that he does, for years. I think its fabulous he was able to return to something he enjoys and was greatly inspired by, even if he is no longer the anonymous guy he was just three years ago. And if the story above is true, and Burning Man is no more, its even better that Adam was able to experience the obvious joy and freedom that he has felt in the past and also to introduce Sauli to something he loves so much, one more time..Sounds like Sauli loved it as well. And as to what Sauli's parents think of the make-up, etc.: As a parent I would be THRILLED that his life is so full and good, he has found this beautiful (inside and out) man to love, and be loved in return. Make up is just a manner of self expression, and is seen throughout history adorning men as well. Its fun and theatrical, in this case..not "girly" (and I personally think it makes him look VERY attractive..but that's just me)... I'm guessing if Sauli is happy, his parents are happy.. Sauli isn't 12 years old: I'm sure he makes his own decisions and doesn't just defer to Adam for his every move. Sheesh! Adam's involvement with Burning Man has helped to make him who he is today...So glad he was able to go this (one last??) time, have a little R&R, and recharge before the craziness that will be starting soon with his new music and album and appearances and then planning for a new tour and a new tour.....and on and on! How he choses to do that (R&R) is up to him...This may be his last chance for a long time to just kick back for a few days. Good for him!

Wasn't going to answer but couldn't help myself..

When Adam was with Brad (Cheeks..) he wasn't known worldwide..and had no need to be more restrained and private. He assumed he "would never be famous" (his words in a recent interview) and again, had no need to be discrete in front of cameras. Now he is famous and his every move is watched and reported upon. He is smart to keep his private life relatively private, which includes PDA's (public displays of affection). He and Sauli are most likely very secure in their relationship and don't feel the need to to prove it to anyone. The pictures to which you refer where unfortunately a problem for Adam during Idol and he assumed that they would kill his chances for any success on there..He obviously did well in spite of them. He is now keeping his private life private for the most part. It is probably a decision he has made with Sauli. He has said he is in love with Sauli..that should be enough. It may not be obvious to you but it is to me. They have been observed kissing in public (I personally know people who have been there to see it) ..and holding hands..and looking at each other with love in their eyes. Sorry you don't want to believe it or acknowledge it. You are apparently a "Sauli deny-er". Believe what you want but just remember you are disrespecting Adam by dismissing his love relationship with Sauli..He has moved on from Brad (they are still friends..)..and perhaps you should too. Just my opinion.

agree with your post. Once again the voice of reason and commonsense on here. I don't get why some people don't understand why he's trying to keep this relationship more private. And why they feel they have to see a kissing picture to prove they love each other (not that i wouldn't mind seeing a picture!!!). I've been with my husband for 31 years and I don't think we have one picture of us kissing, not even as teens....The looks you can see between them in some photos say more than a kiss can.

Adam has been 'scared' off by all the emphasis and hoo-ha of previous kissing photos...his previous guys and not forgetting the AMAs; so he doesn't want to drag Sauli through the same mess. That shows he really wants to protect Sauli, a sign of true lasting love. :)

I think Sauli's family can be happy & proud because Sauli seems to be so truly happy with Adam. I'm sure S keeps close contact with his family.

And I'm glad A & S try to keep some things private, good for them. What I find really adorable is that they're always together. They go everywhere together, they don't seem to want to be apart at all. Even when S does his 20min Tutka show, Adam appears to be there in the same room, probably making goofy faces and trying to distract Sauli. So cute.

Hey, come on! Sauli is 26 years old. He makes all his decisions by himself. His family is important to him (he has said that many times) but his parents don't tell him anymore what to wear or with whom do date. LOL He is now living with Adam, so he is his partner. I think they are cute in BM with matching nailpolish and water bottles! Someone mentioned the Tutka. Yes, I could hear Adam's laughter back when Sauli said silently something like "stop" when he was distracting him. They must have fun together (Adam tweeted singing to Sauli True Blood theme and Sauli laughing hilariously etc. ) but their private life is theirs. And Sep 9 2011 4:32 PM: What makes their love awkward and phony? The fact that they don't want to do PDA? (Sauli has said he does not want such pics to be private). I see love in their eyes and gestures, hugs etc. Maybe I'm a fool.

I meant that Sauli has said about PDA's that he does not want such pics to be PUBLIC (wants to keep some privacy line). And what I've learned about their everyday life, it seems to be on a very solid basis. They don't have to prove their love to us with kissing pics or such. It's more important that both A and S have repeatedly told that they are happy and I think it can be seen in their faces, eyes and smiles.

Well said, Glitzylady! Adam will be 30 this Jan. Along with age comes maturity. When Adam was with Brad he was still experimenting and discovering life,experiencing his first love and probably wasn't as secure and worldly as he is now. Making out in public is generally insecure highschool behavior. Adam and Sauli don't have to prove anything to anyone. The intimate looks and body language say it all as does Adam's playful lyrics sung to Sauil watching True Blood in the privacy of their home. They obviously have a very playful, healthy love life that is between them, private and very special. Brad is yesterday's news and they both have moved on and evolved. Adam also has had to deal with the fans that cannot distinguish the "fantasy showbiz from reality" fallout from the Tommy stage kisses. It's annoying and disrespectful to Sauli whom is the real love in his life and I would guess bothers Adam. He is protective of those that he loves and has little patience when they are insulted or hurt. Adam is lucky to have found Sauli and have him in his life. He is loyal, decent and trustworthy, all attributes hard to find in a partner when you are a celebrity of Adam's stature. When I see pics of them arms around, I can imagine the next step: turning and kissing. They just don't want to share these pics with us. I have heard many people telling that they have seen them kissing passionately. So I don't see anything phony in this relationship. I see it real love.

I think one the most wonderful gesture from Adam in public was that kiss that he blowed to Sauli in that Canada -concert after singing Aftermath(it's a pity we have no pics of Sauli's answer kiss). There are lovely vids and gifs of that moment and I see a man very much in love blowing that kiss.

One sweet moment in my opinion is in the TALC video of Aftermath in Sainte Agathe. At approximately 1:57 Adam is looking intensively at Sauli's direction (Sauli was in the sound booth at that direction), he gets distracted like almost forgetting to sing and then when he sings "you are not alone" he smiles and clearly gets emotional. I think it's really sweet. So is the blowing of the kiss, people in the audience said Sauli blew a kiss too.

I must admire your eagerness to try to convice everybody that Sauli is not the right one to Adam, but Brad (or maybe ? even Tommy who has a girlfriend) is. You always come to comment these pics and telling how they do not show any devotion publicly, so they can't be in love. How childish.

I can see so much more love, devotion and tenderness in Adam's eyes and looks in the middle of the St Agathe Aftermath performance (looking straigt to sound booth where Sauli was)than I see in that pic where he is posing with Brad/Cheeks in BM. I know Brad WAS his first and big love but they did break up years ago, didn't they?

I don't think you would change your mind even if Adam whisped the truth to your ear or shouted it out loud in front of you. You would continue saying "your relationship is awkward and phony and not right". So, this is useless. But keep on dreaming and fantasizing. Adam and Sauli keep living together as partners, mature companions as long as it works. At this moment it looks fine.
