Sauli's personal blog, 12/29/11, translated

Sunshine! :)

Christmas is over and I'm back home in Hollywood! :) I'm over the jet lag and back on California time. I have to admit it was so lovely to come back to sunlight after all the rain in Finland. After all, we're in December and the temperature is 26 C. Not too shabby!! :) I even managed to burn my shoulders in the sun today. wow!! It's amazing how much the sun affects us humans. I feel like I have so much more energy after coming back. I miss Finland, my friends and my family a lot, but it was sooooo good to come back home. I have a very strong feeling that this is where I'm supposed to live. :)

I've spent the past three days just getting over the jet lag. Today, in fact, was the first time I ventured out. I went out to eat and saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie. It was sick!! :) I liked the first movie a lot, but this one was even better. Strongly recommended!! I'm sure it's out in Finland too?? After the movie, I drove to the roof of the parking garage to admite the city and the sunset.

Now to look forward to New Year's and hope for an even better next year. I have no plans for New Year's yet, but really all you need is the best possible company. :)

xoxo

Nice photo. I'm guessing Adam probably took it.

I don't think Sauli drives so I'm taking a guess as to who drove him to that rooftop. Loved the last Sherlock Holmes and looking forward to the new one.

Sauli - blog is perfect just perfect! Sauli writes from his heart and enjoys the simple pleasures in life. So, it shows you are humble too. You love those LA Sunsets!!

"best possible company" - Sauli has a way of saying things soo well too. Yep, all seems to be well again in Adam and Sauli Land!!

Just be safe and smart on New Years! But of course have FUN!!

Love how Sauli refers to LA as "home." That's a good sign, as far as his relationship with Adam goes. He's such a good observer of life and he seems so emotionally connected to family, friends. There's nothing superficial about this guy. I think he's here to stay, in more ways than one. And yes, I saw both Sherlock Holmes movies, too. Loved them both! Be safe, Sauli, and take care of your "companion" on New Year's Eve, PLEASE!

loved that movie too, Sauli please wear sun screen if you haven't been doing it, glad you are back home. I was wishing Adam some gig on NYE but guess not.

Sauli is not going anywhere he has it to good with Adam. Didnt take him long to call LA his home.
Through the worst of their fights, he will be like a magnet.
LA beats Finland !

How can anyone not call L.A. home. Weather right now is in low 70s. Gorgeous weather. 12 hours of sunshine. So many places to go to. Population double of Finland's. And finally, living with best person in whole wide world. Consider yourself lucky!

love adam and sauli but sauli sounds like los angeles is his native country(smile)if it wasnt for adma lambert no sauli in los angeles.

If they ever break up, wonder if Sauli will stay in LA? Maybe so, because he has met many new friends, from his homeland of Finland. He is getting more comfortable each day. I remember him checking the prices of leases on homes,in one of his blogs.
I cant see Adam staying with one person longer than a year or two.
He is much to hyper and likes freshness.

For better or worst, he is full of life indeed...:)

In a relationship you don't just give up instead you work it out and learned from those mistakes.

Nothing is perfect but we do our best to make it work as long as you can handle the situation in a safe way....

Communication is the strongest weapon that you can take anywhere....

I wish Adam and Sauli the best....

DARN I really have to get to Ca. now. I have only heard good things about it and who knows I might just run into A&S.

Sounds like all is well in the Adam/Sauli household. Sauli says it is good to be home, which is very telling. He sees his life in California and with Adam as home. Happy for them both...they are an awesome couple. Love is grand!!!

To all of you who wish you lived in LA...you're probably better off where you are. Sure, the weather is nice most of the time, but those Santana winds will get you down when it's in the 90's on Thanksgiving or Christmas.

If you think you're going to see and get lots of autographs of celebs, don't count on it. You don't drive in LA in mileage (it's just twenty miles) you drive in time (it will take you an hour at least). The freeways are a nightmare. And the people who drive them are worse. People will cut you off and then flip you off just beause you happen to be in "their space." Then there is the road rage. You don't dare make eye contact with another driver on the freeway, you just might get shot at.

I guess you can see why hubby and I gave up living in LA 5 years ago and moved to a small town in another state where we can both work from home and if something is 20 miles away, it takes 25 minutes to get there. The people are friendly and the drivers actually will stop to let you pull out from a side street. I for one miss NOTHING about Los Angeles, CA, which includes the high cost of living and 11% sales tax on everything you buy.

Hubby and I both love Adam Lambert and are quite content to see him here on 24/7, on Youtube videos, on promotional visits on TV and the three Glamnation concerts we attended were "da bomb."

@1:14PM you're kind of exaggerating. I've been living in L.A. for more than 32 years and it's not as bad as you are saying. Can't stand living in any other place than L.A. Maybe because I live by the beach and I don't see it the way you're describing.

it is like Willy Wonka wanting that Golden Ticket. get your hands on it before it gets away.

I was in LA few times. I coudn't breath for the first ten minutes when I walk out of airporT!!!
Sorry, but I don't like any city in CA except San Diego. Only place in whole entire world I would like to spend last days of my life:)

Goof luck, Sauli!
However, I wish you and Adam will break-up as soon as possible.
Yes, I agree that I am very trollish about Sauli.
Never liked this boy. And this is not about his relationship with Adam. Just don't like him.

Sauli looks very different on this photo! More mature! Different hairstyle. I think he doesn't shave the side anymore.
Also, he doesn't look very happy on this picture.

Last Sherlock Homes id AMAZING!!!! Can't wait they release it in Blue Ray!!!!!!
Sauli looks nice but sad:(

Anonymous said...

6:45pm: I am not going to call you a troll or anything, but I am simply interested in hearing why you do not like Sauli, if you don't mind talking about your reasons for that.

Anonymous said...

@7:59PM Be honest, i don't know why I don't like Sauli.
May because he looks like selfish little cute boy wihout any personality. and emotions. This "little boy" doesn't have fireworks in his eyes when he looks at Adam. Sauli just wants to have fun.
Sorry, I know, Adam loves him. But love is blind sometimes (most of the time).
But this is just me. I hope I'm mistaken. Unfortunately, I never made a mistake before. This is my curse.

8:59pm: Thank you for the reply. I guess people perceive other people on different ways, and we are of course all entitled to it. My picture of Sauli is positive due to a long list of reasons (it would be a long list so I am not writing it here). But of course none of us have seen how their life together really is. We can just hope that it's good.

I have experienced first-hand that not even the closest family members necessarily have the correct picture of how a couple is doing or the dynamics of a relationship (it took my mom years to believe that my ex-husband she so liked had quite a few flaws, including some verbal abusiveness). That's why I personally try to remind myself of not drawing any conclusions on other people, no matter how well I think I know them.

Anon 29, 2011 8:59 PM What are you talking about that Sauli has no emotions?? Look this video where Sauli goes to see his family and relatives in Hyvinkää. Its the same place where Adam visited at Christmas:

I hadn't seen that video before, it was a lot of fun. Especially what his dad had to say about Sauli's workday... And the question of boys and girls. If Sauli is faking his sweetness, he deserves an Oscar for his acting...

Anonymous said...

December 30, 2011 4:29 AM Lol true if you can act sweetness 3 months 24/7 under the watching eyes of Big bother and also when you are drunk you deserve Oscar.

I don't think Sauli looks sad in the photo, more like pensive.

As for his relationship with Adam? Its none of my business but I wish them happiness.

Baffles me how anyone who claims to be a fan of Adam can hope for the end of his relationship. You don't know either of these men so let them be.

On my! I'm late reading these and I'm pretty sure no one comes here anymore, but... As usual there are first positive comments, but then come the Sauli-haters as I assumed. I rarely come here anymore, most Adam-fans (who accept Sauli is part of Adam's life) are mostly elsewhere. "Sauli has no personality and emotions." You must be kidding (29th Dec 6:45PM, 8:59PM). You know nothing about Sauli. You've seen maybe just the pics and make deep cosumptions on that base. I've known Sauli for four years and he is the most emotional guy with lovely personality. He and Adam are quite alike (joyful, funny, sunny, down to earth, humble, love children and animals, love to keep home clean etc.) So I suppose, you don't like Adam if you don't like these qualities? It's cruel to hope someone to break-up. Have you ever heard the saying: "Home is where you heart is.".

And to that one (29th Dec 9:04PM) who says Adam likes freshness and gets bored in one or two years. No one knows how long any relationship lasts (look at Katy Perry) but Adam and Sauli seem to be happy at the moment, so that's all that matters. And maybe Adam has grown-up/matured a little emotionally??? Hope so.
