If this was already posted..sorry

Longevity

As far as longevity is concerned, it doesn’t look like Lambert has anything to worry about—because his exceptional talent sustains his record-selling and crowd-drawing cachet. In fact, his prodigious gifts as a performer can turn mediocre tunes into palatable performance pieces.

In “Trespassing,” punk and glam rock find unlikely companions in electronica and alternative music, genres that allow snippets of Lambert’s multilayered personality to come through. So, as his different musical persuasions unfold, so does he.

This interviewer had a nice combination of liking Adam, respecting where he's been and what he's achieved, but also acknowledging that many Brits still don't know Adam and are using a wait-and-see attitude. These Queen gigs should be career-changing for Adam. This guy is right. Most concert-goers will figure that if Brian and Roger think Adam is worthy of their collaboration, then he must be worthy. Good for Adam for not letting the crazy naysayers get to him. Can't wait for this first concert!

Love the snippet from Inquirer.net. The writer really sees the BIG PICTURE and the FUTURE for Adam, which many of us forget about as we wring our hands over the success of a single song. Adam's talents will transcend the ups and downs of radio play and singles. As the writer says, Adam has "prodigious gifts and exceptional talent."

PS Love how Adam didn't correct him right away after he said that Adam won AI. Then, at the best moment, Adam DID correct him. LOL>

If 250 people gave $65 or 500 people gave $35 that should be enough to meet Adam's birthday goal at Charity Waters. That should be doable for his fans. I know that with cds and concert tickets this is an expensive time to be a fan, but this is a very good cause and tax deductible to boot.

@DRG

Just like you, I'm always on my fingers voting away!!!

ADAM deserves everything. He can only give us always his best which he does each and every time but all depends on us, his fans.

I promised to give $30 every month since January 29.
But have not given due to some problems.
But today I'm giving what is due with my promise for the months of Feb, March, April, May and June.
Because it's all for a good cause and for the LOVE of ADAM!!!

Adam must be getting somemore airplay with NCOE because I have noticed a somewhat increase in views on his Youtube mv and a few have said they just heard it on the radio. I hope I am correct.

@12:56 i heard every 20 minutes on sirrus radio 20 on 20 2 days ago. Nothing today and yet to ever hear on normal radio. That salon link by glitzlady (a few threads back) explained alot about radio play. funny I tried to comment on billboard about that article(the truth behind this all)- immediately deleted and not postedat all. Thier sharp, cuz they are in on it also! I really think this needs to be exposed the dreadful, greedy people that run the whole radio industry. Boy,I wish I never read - now it's bothering me so much!

JAK here...it made me nervous to listen to that interview. Mr. Tarrant was nice enough but he talked on top of Adam's responses!
Also, he didn't seem too well informed on the facts. But he was right about one thing....soon the UK will def know who Adam is!

Don't worry Adam my dear thousands of people will stay awake because we are all going to experience the future King of POP/ROCK roars the stage!!!!!

@daydreamin,
I'm going to the shows on the 11th and 12th (fingers crossed). I don't plan on videoing, but will give you a full recap.
I was wondering if SG was going.

The venue in London forbids all the video cameras and professional cameras... But I don't know if it has stopped Glamberts before :D

I am going to two concerts in London and take my pocket camera with me, but I don't think it's any use. Sitting very high and quite back... But I can share the atmosphere later :)

It was a really good interview - no "gay" mention - but agree with JAK that Chris Tarrant talked over the top of Adam at times. However, props to BBC radio for BOTH interviews.

Chris Tarrant has been in radio doing interviews for many years. I do not know why he makes it a habit of asking the next question before the last has been answered as if he knows the answer and is speeding on. I seldom listen to him because of this trait.
