I wonder how old he is there? He looks plenty young.

Would love to hear what he was singing!

He was discussing this on Much More interview tonight. I am thinking he is around 19. It was right after his cruise ship gig and he did that at 18.

Recently I remarked in response about Adam wearing that exquisite black/white Blonds shirt as a waiter and even made a waiter haiku about it. lol! And that long queues would form for aromatic coffee, specified to be served by the Adam waiter. So he did actually work as a singing waiter...my goodness. Yea does he have a recording of what he sang as a waiter...must be very good; because his young days' voice was already showing high potential. He looks so young and handsome; but he looks handsomer now! Oooh-la-la lol!

That must be his real hair colour; at 19, probably not so much into hair-dying...the cat's out of the bag! lol!

Even though there wasn't much new from the InSixty interview, I loved making the connection with Adam. It's not just hearing his voice or watching him talk that fascinates; I respect how he just knows how to express his thoughts as he means them exactly and concisely. Possessed of an expansive vocabulary and a quick mind, he articulates with ease, embellishes with candor, and avoids being misunderstood or taken out of context--the pitfalls of celebrities who are not as facile with the English language.
For these reasons, Adam is widely regarded an "interviewer's dream", and by this viewer, just "a dream", as the interviewer is, in many cases, superfluous. As much as I appreciate an interviewer's agenda, Adam could just as well carry on a monologue, a discourse, a stream-of-consciousness rave or rant, or a dialogue with a friend, and I would be happy. If Adam's concerned that he might expose so much of what is in his head, he might just sing anything he wishes a capella. Not asking for much, am I? atm

Still beautiful Adam and a clone of Eber.

@ atm....JAK here....I don't think it would even be necessary for an interviewer to ask a question...he could just hand Adam a mic and say "Go!" and let Adam talk the whole time...I'd be enthralled!

I'm used to non stop talking, it runs in my family! :)) Genetic!

I agree that he's a clone of Eber,
the only time he resembles Leila is when he and she have their hair dyed black. He has Eber's features and build, Neil must favor Leila's family.

Tickets for Adam's Helsinki, Finland, concert went on sale there a few minutes ago. Sold out a 12,000+ venue in just a few minutes, so I heard on twitter! Hoping all of our Finnish friends who come to 24/7 got tickets...So exited for Adam and for the fans...

I think Adam looks like his mother. There are so many photos where the likeness is uncanny (their smiles are a dead giveaway) and even more so when they're photographed together.

M did you get tickets to go? You will have to give us the low down.

Wow! Very impressive! Do you think Adam might invite Sauli on stage maybe...but he'll be pointing to him a lot for sure. It's definitely advantageous for him to perform once to 12000 than several times to smaller audiences for the same takings. Also more importantly, for the preservation of his voice.

Yes, ADAM mentioned he worked after his cruise job as singer waiter but he did clarify, he didn't work as a waiter but only wore the waiter's uniform and maybe just handed a glass of water on his way but was there to sing for an occasion, not a job really.
Well, that's how I understood it.

@atm and JAK

Agree with both of you.
Just let ADAM talk and sing and talk and sing. . .

I remember a video of a long long queue of Finns waiting for an Adam concert, in extreme cold, almost winter, some 2 years ago. I commented that they must love Adam a lot to do that. Someone from the actual queue replied that she felt touched by my words of warmth; surreal. lol! This will indeed be a special concert for both Sauli and Adam. :)

YAY!! I got my ticket to Adam´s concert in Helsinki Finland!So excited and happy:) I thought that if I don´t get mine in Helsinki, I would go to St. Petersburg Russia:) No need to do that...so worked out just great:)

Adam is an absolute doll in this picure. I thought he said once that the cruise ship job and the singing waiter job were two different things. I could be wrong. If I was on a cruise or in a restaurant with him singing, I wouldn't be able to eat or talk to concentrate on anything but him!

I think he has a lot of both parents in his looks. But he had Eber have the same body type, coloring and eyes. He definately comes from an excellent gene pool.
So glad to hear that the Helsinki show is selling out. I'm glad some of you are going! Finland will be in a frenzy over this concert. I'll be we'll get LOTS of media coverage, interviews and videos!

Wow, he was quite a bit heavier there. He said at one time he weighed over 200. I think that picture looks like he was high school age. Love his red hair. I wish some day he would return to his "roots" so to speak and then grow some matching designer stubble. I love ruddy stubble on a man.

Just watched the whole interview. Adam, as always, was smart, funny, articulate and insightful. What else can we say? I agree with all here who say that he could just talk by himself without a interviewer and be just as entertaining and fascinating. I sure hope he gets his own show someday, becasuse he can bring the best out in other people, too. What a host he would make! Not much new info in the interview, but he did talk about the cruise ship, the "sleazy" time he was in after the cruise experience, and some other things. I could listen to that honey-soaked voice all day long.

glitzylady .. Congratulations on your ticket for the concert in Helsinki Finladia Adam!
We are happy with your excellent comment! HH.

@HH
Thank you, but unfortunately, that wasn't me who was the very lucky ticket purchaser @Anon 5:48 AM.. But I certainly WISH it was!!!! I'm too far away from Finland to go, although I would LOVE to be there! I know it will be a concert to remember and will be VERY special for everyone who is there!

MGF, thanks. We know how much a minefield English can be, so I always marvel at Adam whenever he speaks, especially when handling tricky topics. English's nuanced meanings and usages trip the highest and mightiest all the time (as in the carelessly thrown "47%"), so I appreciate the art with none of the artifice that Adam uses to navigate through countless interviews that if he were not a skilled master of his language, a predator like PH could glom on to any Adam mistep for fodder for his rag. Thankfully, Adam is a smart cookie. atm

Hey MGF (neighbor), I agree with your thoughts on atm's post. That was very well said, atm.

Love the color of his hair back then (and now).

ahhh ... glitzylady feel the confusion, the Adam is lucky for having you as fans!! Cordial greetings! HH.

atm, I always enjoy your high command of English without a hint of any agenda other than to say what you want to say as direct and clear as it always is.
