I don't have an outfit for the VH1 show, but I think I'll be clutching my Rolling Stone mag to my pounding heart. That'll do the trick.

@ brownie...JAK here...yep, that sounds like my husband too, I don't get it. He was fine thru my crushing on William Holden, Peter O'Toole, Richard Gere, Daniel Day-Lewis, Michael Bolton, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and my current James Blunt.....but my interest in Adam bugs him!. So silly. I don't mind that he watches The Deep starring Jacqueline Bisset on a weekly basis or that his attention is riveted on TV during Charlize Theron Dior commercials.....and that he buys me Dior cologne for every 'gifty' occasion.....men are an altogether different species, but amusing on occasion!

when I got back to DELL-A that thread and a lot of others had disappeared down the rabbit hole but I went in after them...'older posts!' My daughters showed good judgement, if questionable taste, they had planned to also give me leopard print satin sheets but then remembering my tendency to be accident prone they were afraid satin zebra p.j.'s and satin sheets could slide me out of bed and I'd break a hip!!! I've always been an accident waiting to happen! But it was fun being 'berted'....I'm glad no leather....in Florida weather....it could be deadly!

Well, my goodness. I was just going to send my husband upstairs nest Sunday night and curl up on my couch, wrapped in my Irish blanket from County Mayo and watch my Adam---while the rest of the world disappears. Now I will have images of all the rest of you--satin zebra striped pjs etc-dancing in my head and will have to work so hard to concentrate on the object of my deepest affection on my TV screen!!!! Ha Ha Ha
