Adam should have never been put in this position. A virtually unknown artist closing the Grammys, never has been done before and I dare say never will be again. He had no albums released and was singing at the AMA's. He should have not been asked until the next year. Never made any since to me.

Adam chubby? Not since high school.The AMA performance deserved being on the list, as it was gigantic news. Adam was a novice, not realizing the prime time limits or anticipating the wide spread fall for which Adam, unfortunately is still paying the price. It did however placed a spotlight on the double standards in society and did cause a large number to see the incongruity and unfairness of it all. I wouldn't take this list too seriously, as the underlying current seems to like Adam. :)

What KA excuse for not singing at the AMA or Grammies , he never was asked period ever, nor was he nominated! Adam been nominated and sooner or later he will perform and he will win! The year after that Rhianna did an S&M thing that was worse no one turned against her, plenty woman kissing at AMA's! Award show or not Adam has way bigger career than half the winner's from that show! kA career in in the dumpster, along with many more! Adam iis sill thriving and sooner or later will, get that big one in America! He bigger in Asia than just about anyone at all from idol! Have never watched the FYE AMA perf and never will. This is why having TJ in the band is a huge mistake. Awww, 4:24pm, I'm confident Adam will be on future Grammy or AMA shows. The industry is first and formost interested in success and they know Adam is an extraordinary talent. Do you think they have no idea the kind of performance he is capable of? It's their job. Adam is mesmerizing. Think of all the Queen fans he won over. The overtly-sexual, sub-par (for Adam)vocal AMA performance was an aberration. A mildly sexually?, vocally beautiful performance is right up his alley. Who wouldn't love to see that?!

He been nominated, sooner or later he will perform at one of them, he gonna get that big one! He learned a lot on this album which over all did pretty well especially abroad! This constant stuff you say about it, 24/7 really does not help. He doomed for life because of the AMA's no he not! He did Diva's did he not performed 3 times and hosted first male ever, not award show but a big show! He done pretty little luar's ABC family ! kA done none of it! He gets the big song, and album he will be up there, it hurt him a Litltle for a bit, in the long run it may memorable and he still doing well and growing, while many others are all pooped out! He in Asia, knocking them dead, stop the constant negativity!

The AMA was an incredible Oops! in Adam's career. The rehearsal film for that performance is great and it is minus all the objectionable moments that turned out to be disastrous. As Adam has said "I got excited and adrenalin kicked in"
that's a shame because there is no telling what heights he might have reached by now. A really big Oops that should have been #1 on the list.

It sounds crazy but I cried that night during the performance, I kept saying "No Adam please don't" I felt heartsick. Still do because it has made him struggle unnecessarily and his talent is boundless.

I did not like Adam's AMA-performance because he did not sing it well...

I do agree with some of you that he should not have been the one closing the AMA's... it should have been someone like Lady Gaga..

Then again, wasn't there another AMA of a later date that closed with the performance of the group LMFAO? Where are they now ? I think they split...

Adam did have chubby cheeks when he was on Idol, that's one of the things I found so adorable about him! Handsome and sexy as he was, those cheeks and smile made him boyish and irrestible....JAK :))

On one hand, I am sad the oops in the AMA's happened. It prevents him for being a big star in the USA. Then again, maybe it is better for Adam to have a setback like this early in his career so that he can reflect on it and be more careful...

Look at how different his recent concerts are in the USA, China, South Africa and Japan...

Anything negative can simply be omitted from this site. I won't even watch this. Please do not post every rinkydink thing just because Adam's name is mentioned. Use some discretion. Love this website but this just brings back crappy memories of an unfortunate performance that lessened his mass appeal. Don't need it. Adam is the #1 star anyway.

Honestly, I loved his AMA performance except his voice was a little bit shakey and wasn't up par with his Idol/tour performances. Other than that, his performance didn't bother me at all.

We all have moved on to better things and all things Adam.

This what-if introspective supposition used to haunt me whenever things didn't turn out as planned. Thank goodness, I've more or less got over that; still delve into it sometimes but quickly switch my mind by telling myself things could have been worse than what is perceived a wrong move. So basing on my new-found wisdom lol! regarding this what-if or should/should not have, scenario thinking....what if Adam continued to be as supposedly wild and went even further if nothing of the AMA nature happened; for example, staging something more graphic than the 'crotch to face' act...on his GNT tour. Something else could have been a backlash because the setting was already there. By the way, there's absolutely nothing wrong with a real theatrical portrayal such as his AMA performance. He must have honed from his theatre training to be as natural and real as possible and not to be skeered! He is afterall a theatre geek. Alas he went onto the battle ground unarmed; like an innocent lamb to be led to the slaughter-house. But on a positive note, the AMA incident sort of endeared him to the international fans more; everybody loves to rally round an underdog especially one so talented and handsome! And we now see the immense potential that can materialise from it. It shot him out of his comfort zone and cannon-balled him into the whole wide world stage. What happens at this metamorphic stage is anyone's guess.

A wake up call to all people that complained about Adam's AMA performance. Go back in time to the famous comment that our beloved John Lennon of the Beatles made about being more famous than "JESUS". Does anyone even begin to hold this infamous comment against John Lennon? I think NOT! What a silly little mistake Adam made that night, yet we get the crotches of female pop singers thrown in our faces all of the time. Remember Brittany Spears with her very public crotch shots? Adam has been unduly punished for that AMA performance and everyone must MOVE ON! Just remember how much clean water his name brought to charity. For God's sake, we have to forgive and forget-none of us are flawless-well, maybe the Pope.

Of course he has moved on, he done many things after that! I say doing Queen, doing Diva's, many other TV performances, many concerts,the finale of the Voice seen by 520 million or more people, being nominated for the MAMA awards he was nominated and performing on front of billions not millions. His album's placed 3 and 1 no matter what, and Trespassimg has done well abroad and he is loved in Asia a lot, I do think great things are in store for Adam in next two years, he will get that right song hopefully next one will just the right one to show up those in matched vocals, Adam will get those accolades. He was nominated for WWFM after, the AMA's so everything gonna be ok. You act like Ad been in his house knitting for over three years, no he been singing his ass off! Adam different that what's put there so may take little more time to do what you think is, sucess he had plenty! People are still mentioning him all over the place still! Cartoons and all! Thank Goodness they are not referring to him as what his name like some winners from idol past! Hr still a star, he still thriving and we will get that big one! The aMA's were not that damn bad, just not up to the kind of performance he does! I honestly think it did make him more famous. Some bad came out of it some good came out of it! He has move on lets all do that now! This was just a silly show, if he was not relavant they would not mention him. That was the voice China, he did finale of it was amaizing!

This wasn't bad at all! Adam is news, YAY! Adam is infamous and famous for this performance and it was a game-changer. What is in-your-face and political in 2010 is no biggie in 2013. They didn't even blur the kiss here.

It didn't hurt him on balance. What he lost over this he gained in other ways. A little place in pop and TV history.

Adam is still erotic onstage but it is more general and with more partners, very similar to other performers. Not a big deal IMHO and won't hurt him at all. Everybody does that. No biggie.
