Just watched the Fever video...very exciting, new approach and he's down on the stage floor slithering with the dancers, whoa hot baby hot lol! Yea very good theatre acoustics / sound. So looks like we're getting quite a few refreshing new sexy touches and a couple of new songs...Mmm Adam and Glamily are flying right across above us now, good golly! lol!

Lam-my, hi!
Are you ready for the Close Encounter of the Fifth Kind , are you ready to let yourself be spellbound and abducted by the fabulous creature from the Planet Fierce? LOL
Oh, how envious I'm being now! Good, the "new recruit"will help you to write the most detailed report ever!
Hmm, shall I dare to ask you to do me a favor? I've been wondering for a while, is his effort of alternating high/ low notes noticeable or not? Like the opera singers on the stage, his operatic performances of some songs surely require a great amount of physical/mental effort. And your opinion, with the "remains" of a hard-core fan's objectivity, are all the component parts of some songs, Fever, Dragon Attack etc, Adam's singing, the solos of the instruments, the back up singers and the dancers a harmonious whole?

This show was so good !! The Band intro was hilarious .Tommy giving him the big banana and Adam waving it at him .they were having so much fun . It is about the singing , but these silly moments and cute interactions are part of what makes the whole show come together . They all seem so close and really enjoy each other and I believe this provides the "harmonious whole" Pan @11:26 is talking about .I didnt see the intro posted here but its well worth watching.

Hi Pan!
Actually I have only a faint idea of what I'm going to feel from this Adam, Close Encounter of The Third Kind, experience. I only saw the first one, Spielberg. I notice he deliberately lowered the key for FYE song. I'd be able to have a clearer listen at the concert. But I'm really glad he replaced a couple of songs. Yes I do think from the videos, the performances are wholesome and well coordinated; just by the sheer variety of genres that Adam so masterfully glues together in one concert; switching from rock to pop to jazz improvisation and operatic. Not many singers can do this effectively as a harmonious whole... The band, backup singers, dancers...they are there only as a support group and Adam feels at home, confident and comfortable with their added energy on stage; that's important, it's only when one feels at ease, relaxed that one is able to fulfill their maximum potential. Brian London is a very experienced and talented musician/director. I guess that's why there's such a feverish demand for Adam's concerts worldwide; It finally boils down to his voice and singing; like a highly-skilled swordsman executing his fighting skills to kill lol! So it boils down to how you define harmonious whole. My interpretation is yes because I base it mostly on how Adam gels all his different genres of songs by the sheer versatility of his singing and voice control. The rest supports with love, care, trust, no doubt very important to Adam for him to take his performances to the maximum level. I like the whole Glamily and Adam; in their own perhaps imperfect way as some choose to think, they perform at a high level of talent and skill especially Adam, exceptional.

Obviously you love Adam's band more than I do.LOL Feeling confident and comfortable , as you say, surrounded by trusty people is great but I also think that the professionalism of your band gives you the same confidence. At least one of them is playing Dragon Attack now only because Adam is the best and loyal friend!
I've always wondered how , which are Adam's reasons of choosing to cover one song or another. This Tears for Fears Shout was , let's say, a totally provocative choice, but...but surely it's not going to make history as Whole Lotta Love or Ring of Fire made, better than the "princeps" songs?!(blasphemy, blasphemy)

You may have greater exposure to live performance bands and to you Adam's band is not quite up to par as you think it should be. So it depends on how you view the harmonious whole you refer to. As for me I'm not so into bands; as long as they can accommodate Adam and Adam thinks it is good enough, I'll go along. As I've said I view the harmonious whole based mainly on how well Adam coordinates his multi-genre performances. Even without the band, just piano is fine with me. But it's okay for you to critique the band as I've said you may have a lot of exposure to different styles of bands. The only band that stands out for me is Queen. I like Adam's cover of Shout, a very old hit song I used to like; didn't watch the whole video, just the beginning but he sounded good, as always. lol! I will have a better idea if I hear Adam sing it live.

You're probably right about the choice of Shout as a cover; I would actually prefer Adam to sing Mad World because I've heard it only on videos; would really be nice to hear those high notes at the end and then at least I know how he sounded live on AI for Simon to give him a standing ovation.

Hi ALL.
loved, loved , loved the concert.
Here's my recap from another site.....thought it would be easier than typing it again..

Too high to sleep.
It was sooooo good.
Not that big a crowd, maybe 2000? and all crowded towards the front. Lots of young people.
The show started 25mins late, but that is pretty much on time by HK standards!!
IIHY was great, really upbeat, a great way to start the show. Lots of people seemed to know all the words to the songs so that was good that they were real fans.
Loved naked love, and especially cuckoo, although still couldn’t see the legs properly in the dancing at the beginning. Lots of cheers for the dancing parts, a rather drunk girl behind me kept shouting, Adam Lambert you’re f***ing gorgeous…
Shout was great, my friends that were with me have seen Tears for fears live, and they said Adam sang it better.
And then TFM…..couldn’t believe we got that, and while it was great and everyone sang along, my heart did drop just a little as I knew he would be dropping either Stay or Underneath, unfortunately it was both, so that was a bit disappointing. But only to me, not to the others that didn’t know he’d been singing them. The Is this love went down very well too, that was one of friends favourite of the night.
The skit bit was much better live than I thought it would be, apart from the getting dressed bit. Found my eyes on Terrance for all of that bit, he has such cute dimples.
Oh we got a new outfit, the long black waistcoat, that was short and cut out in the back with red. I could see all the tattoos really clearly, they looked great.

Loved the section with the top hat and fringes. That was my friends favourite part of the show. Fever was excellent, don’t think it was really toned down that much, still lots of the same choreography, they did a part where they were all on the floor though. Its just such a great song live, so much fun.
The girls sounded a bit off during WWFM, Adam sounded great
My friend thought that Keisha was much better as a singer, and said she thought Reyna was off a couple of times.
She loved Johnny, thought he had a great body. And said at one point she felt that Adam looked straight at her and she could feel herself blushing.
There was a group of maybe 6 ‘gay looking’ young men standing not far behind us ,Adam noticed them and called them out for looking so cute, asked them to leave their details with the security….

……He did kick a couple of fur, i’m assuming pr**ks back into the crowd and said, this is a family show, but he was laughing…didn’t stop him saying it was as hot as balls in there though.
It was great when he told the security off. They had been fighting their way through the crowd to get people to stop recording. Adam went off stage briefly, then came back on and told them off, and said let everyone take pics and things, said they were putting him off, and threw a towel in their direction, swore at them a few times. Everyone che0ered.
He interacted with a couple of bananas, then a huge stuffed banana,. Someone gave him a bib/top thing black and yellow with a sparkling eye of horus and hia name on I think, he put it on and wore it for the band intros.
When he came out in the fringe thing, he had the coat hangar hanging from the back…don’t know how obvious it was from the front, but I was towards the side and could see it clearly. He obviously didn’t know it was there, luckily Reyna noticed and took it off when they came on the stage before he went down the stairs, they had a laugh about it.
My friend who came with me to the GNT, said she thought this one was better. My other friend who only knew a couple of his songs, said she thought he was gorgeous, amazing voice, but doesn’t necessarily like the music he does.
And the 2 males friends who joined us, and who were far from fans, didn’t know why they were going, admitted he was pretty good, and had a great voice!

I think TFM was slowed down, as opposed to the rockier version, as it was the 'big ballad' of the evening.

Still a bit disappointed we didn't get Stay and Underneath, and would have loved NCOE too, love that song.
