When Adam was on the Finale of Season 8, his performance with KISS was available on iTunes as a video (which I have..no surprise :)))) but his and Kris's performance with Queen was not. So guessing Adam and Angie's performance of Titanium WILL be available..waiting to see......

Angie and Adam...perfect duet. He looked so handsome and let Angie shine up there. It was good to see him and Leila in the audience at the opening. Adam has to do a collabo with someone soon either for his own album or with some other performer. There are several of them out there now and he needs to be heard on the radio. I watched the entire finale show; I kind of knew who was going to win as most of us thought. Now let's see what happens with her music career.

Well, it was beautiful but way too short. Not enought ADAM! He is really good at duets. He always balances so well with his singing partner. He never tries to upstage them. He let Angie show her goods. I didn't watch the whole show, just what's posted here. I guess the other guest performers didn't get big introductions either. I was hoping they'd say more about him. Anyway, he looked stunning and sang outstandingly. I didn't watch Angie and Jessie J. That seemed to be the focus. Good luck to Angie. Nice voice.

Haven't watched the show yet, as I'm in LA. But watched this video and thought the duet was wonderful. As many have said, Adam was very generous in allowing Angie to shine. Being petty here ... but I wish they hadn't let Jessie J kind of be the big star that Angie wanted to sing with. Kind of felt that Adam was cheated or overshadowed by that. Still he looked amazing and his voice was perfection.

Each time I listen to Adam and Angie's duet I find it more beautiful. their voices and harmonizing go so well together. Adam was so tender and made this song perfect!

You could tell Adam was trying not to overpower her with his voice, because we all know he could have very easily.

Angie started out her two performances on the live finale results show with a beautiful duet featuring American Idol season 8 breakout star Adam Lambert. The two performed a simply gorgeous, piano-driven version of David Guetta and Sia‘s “Titanium.” Adam sweetly sang along with Angie, making sure not to overpower her and let her shine. Angie is a good duet partner for Adam. She has a powerful voice. It reminded me of Allison's strong voice blending with Adam's on Idol 8. I had never heard the song Titanium before, it was a treat to hear Adam's clear high "head voice " again. But, was that the whole song? It seemed so short!
Of course, when Adam is singing, I never want the music to end............JAK ***********

I thought the duet was going to be one of Adam's songs. I thought people had said that's how it's usually done, so why not this time? Oh well, at least Adam was on my TV and sang beautifully, allowing Angie to shine.

JAK, I didn't time it but the original version is very electronic and repetitive so this was a different arrangement. I liked it much better in this version.

He sounded fantastic, but could have over power her but did not do it, by not doing it he shined even brighter.articles dot have time read much, saying in there opinion Adam and Angie should have won. I feel the same way, calming down, I was upset, but just trying to focus on what a great performance he had. I know its not the Adam Lambert show, but AI. He never ceases to amaze me, his vocals are beyond anything I've ever heard.

Why can't we just have a show every week with Adam singing and entertaining us! Someone make that happen please!

Adam was not cheated or slighted. Only one other past Idol was on the finale. They barely introduced or talked to any of the other guests. Try that glass half full thing. We got to see Adam for a beautiful duet on a show that was not about him.

Angie had great duets with both Adam and Jessie J. Adam's vocal was beautiful. I loved Jessie's energy, and as usual, she comes out guns blazing. All three are such great talents.

That "bald-headed chick" is gorgeous Jessie J and she's a huge star. Love her. And Adam is a fan of hers too. Please try to keep your vitriolic thoughts to yourself.

I hope our fandom stays positive with tweets etc. to the media. Adam did a great job and was respectful, generous and professional with his singing partner. He knew it was about her, not him. The media is giving him good props on the performance. Even that short performance DOES have an impact. I see no reason to complain. He got air time on a huge show with other big starts. Right where he should be.

I'm watching the West Coast showing of American Idol so will just re-post a response to some comments from an earlier thread:

"I've seen some stellar "outside" reviews for the Adam and Angie "Titanium" duet and although I agree that I would have liked more of Adam (I ALWAYS want MORE Adam....Hell, I want the entire 2 hours to be all Adam!!! No lie! LOL!!) ...and a little more intro etc..BUT I suspect that most (ALL) people in the audience and the TV viewing audience know exactly who Adam is..and all they had to do was listen to his voice to know (and remember..) how talented and worthy he is. We have to remember that he was invited to duet, not perform on his own (like he did on China Idol). He was the PERFECT duet partner for Angie..It was HER turn to shine tonight..... So happy for her.. And SO happy for Adam as well. He was up there, performing as an "A-lister" guest artist tonight, and shining as well. As it should be for him.

I couldn't wait to see the west coast performance so watched it online. Adam did a wonderful job, as did Angie. I think Idol pays him fine respect--the segment about what he is doing and now a performance on the final show. Even the fact that he was considered as a judge shows that he is respected. Glass more than half full!

if you don't want to know how something is going to turn out a good rule of thumb is stay off the internet. Many people don't realize or remember about the different in times.

Just watched the West Coast performance of Adam, Angie, and Jessie J (who I LOVE BTW!! I've had her album for quite awhile..a fav of mine) and it was GREAT!!! All of it. I'd seen the Adam/Angie part but not the rest. Adam was introduced, thanked, etc... and he was looking so happy to be there and he was so thrilled for Angie..AND he was on stage with one of HIS favorites, Jessie J too! SUCH a gracious man AND looking so handsome. Thank you American Idol for bring Adam to us in 2009 and again tonight!!!

OK, I just watched on the west coast and I don't get what all the whining is about. Everybody is getting brief intros. The song Adam and Angie sang is usually very electronic has very repetitive lyrics and I'm not surprised this arrangement was shorter. Idol had Adam intro Jessie J and then brought him back out on stage at the end. Mariah and Nicki did stand up for that. I don't see any overshadowing. As much as we want, this is not the Adam Lambert Show. Some people are never happy. They are going to find fault with Life Ball too.

I hope Angie takes JJ up on that offer she said sing with her in concert or a mv with her. I don't know if Angie has signed to a management group yet I hope they will let her do it. A good start for Angie!!

OMG-This man, ADAM LAMBERT, is the freakin' BOMB! His voice makes me cry. That duet was pure perfection, but Adam's voice comes from heaven. I have stated many times during the past four years that his voice to me is a religious experience. And, what a beautiful human being he is, as well, so generous to let Angie shine when he could have blown that audience away with his powerful vocals. I will forever be grateful to American Idol for bringing Adam to us, even though I never could again watch the show after Season 8. I felt like I had been to church after Titanium. I had a little Adam Lambert party in my condo tonight to watch the finale and I must say that the two hours were worth it-we really had a great time. That is our Adam-he brings us together. May G-d and the Universe always bless and keep this incredible human being and forever keep him safe in all his worldly travels. To Lam-my, yes, we had our margarita when Adam came on to sing-we toasted him and hugged and cried to be so lucky to be a tiny part of his magnanimous life. Magnifico, he is!
