Whoa! Adam the sifu on Idol stage, so magnanimous; always letting your 'junior' shine exactly like the way you let Zhangwei shine in WWFM. That is the basic and most pertinent quality of a sifu; the sifu never overrides the 'disciple'. But you are about the only male voice there, able to take on Angie's fierceness. Your tenor trying to embed itself into Angie's soprano is very beautifully done, and both voices become one in unison; like I always say, pinpoint bull's-eye accuracy, so beautiful. Your high note and powerful tenor are unmistakable; I delighted in those couple of moments. Now I am more acutely aware why AI people all love you. Oh that extra loud welcome applause from the good old AI audience is still cheering you on; also, we from all over the globe as well. An A* job for Adam!

Adam's voice was so beautiful in his duet! I loved the song and he was so classy and elegant. I was very proud of Adam as he stood out as the star of the night. In the interest of remaining positive on this site, and for the sake of my blood pressure, I will refrain from saying anything else about AI. @Lam-my Beautifully stated. Adam and Angie's voice blended and it was the most beautiful duet. So happy Adam is getting lots of positive feedback from the press. The man can sing and make us feel things most singers can't!

I actually like Ryan. He has gone from nothing and built a real business for himself. I admire that, as I admire Adam for pursuing his own dreams.

About AI -- Ryan and the producers should totally revamp the show to make it a completely new experience for both the viewers and the contestants. Its current format has run its course. Now that the last original judge is gone would be a great time to make a 360 degree turn and create a new concept. Then, it would be great for Adam to join in.

I've always liked Ryan. It would be great if they totally revamped the show and brought new life into it.....i also hope they change the voting format.....something they should of done a long long time ago!

Ryan could have said more than "Great having you back, Adam." I thought Adam was dissed and frankly, I am surprised more of you aren't outraged by the way they treated our superstar. Shameful. So glad Angie lost too.

It's shameful how entitled you are. This wasn't supposed to be about Adam and they treated him exactly like they treated all the other guest stars.

Ryan is ALWAYS awkward & "out of balance" when he talks with or is near Adam. And I can TOTALLY understand that, THE POWER OF ADAM'S AURA &PRESENCE, just hope he would admit it out loud...

On that stage with Adam, Angie and Jessie he just acted unprofessional not giving Adam his proper dues.
My guess is most people watching AI outside US do not know the details, and they just saw Adam getting "the sidelines"... NOT NICE!!!

Am not being negative, just stating an opinion based on previous years watching AI (outside US the program often is shorter etc).

Since IDOL will be looking for new judges, there is one standing right next to Ryan. After last night's duet with Angie, Adam might be a good choice and help boost the ratings of the show depending on the other new judges who will be selected. IDOL might be "going down the tubes", but I blame that on the Nicki/Mariah fiasco. Maybe with a new panel and new attitude, the show might regain some of its viewers. Anyway, it was great to see Adam on the show again. He is always a class act.

Adam WAS NOT treated like the other guests....no introduction....shorter song...no standing ovations...(Psy? Really?) and then the final blow...Ryan totally ignoring Adam in his question to Angie. Adam is a superstar in his own right and when Ryan ask Angie what it was like to sing with Jesse J. he could have easily added Adam
s name. Angie could have corrected that too...but Ryan should know better. Obvious slight. And the judges? Ugggg...!!!

Entitled? Pffffftttt!!

Let's not forget that ANGIE put her arm around Adam at the very end and drew him into the threesome that was Adam/Angie/JJ standing there. ANGIE did that. I am not here just for fangirl for Angie, I didn't even watch the season, so I see it with objective eyes... Angie felt a sense of appropriateness and manners in that moment, probably along with excitement and appreciation, and ANGIE put her arm around Adam at the very end and drew him in to the scene!!

Having all that said, I consider myself not at all entitled, I agree with many who criticize Glamberts for forgetting that the world does not revolve around Adam... and even I don't have a great feeling about last night as it unfolded. HOWEVER, the press is great on his performance and vocal, so let's not make anything worse or overly unseemly. Just my POV. Have a good day all. Finger's crossed for a small sales bump for Adam's music.

I don't have a problem with Angie. She is new to this and was like a little deer in headlights when in the presence of her IDOL.

I did have a problem with the narcissistic stars who blatantly showed respect for other artists and,IMO,did not acknowledge Adam in the manner that he should have been.

Many are right....the night wasn't about Adam...although he is THE ONLY REASON I tuned in. But when you give a standing ovation to a guy like Psy (and almost every other performance....I turned the channel after Adam)...and not one to Adam,there is a glaring and most obvious slight. So then it does become about Adam because he deserved more.

When all is said and done, Adam will be remembered as the classy one. And, may I say, as an over-the-top Adam fan, if it had been an different singer singing with Angie, we wouldn't have even noticed these perceived "slights." Sure, I think Ryan should have mentioned Adam long with Jesse. Actually, Angie should have brought it up herself, but I don't blame her. She was caught up in the moment. All in all, it was good exposure for Adam and he's getting good feedback.

IF AI revamps itself, and IF they want good quality judges, I hope Adam DOES get a chance to be a judge. But if they keep the show the same old lame thing, I don't know if I want Adam on it. He is so great, he deserves a great show to be on.

Jessie received more attention from Ryan than Adam because she was a guest from overseas, whereas Adam is now part of the AI family, I didn't feel that Adam was being snubbed at all but more attention was given to Jessie as she is a new comer to AI and I saw this as being quiet natural. AI has been very good to Adam and they totally respect him, he was there to assist Angie with a duet, that's all and he did a magnificent job, allowing her to have her to shine after all it was her night just in the same way as Adam had him time back in S8.

I DO FEEL ADAM WAS SNUBBED!

It isn't entitlement or putting down others. It's the fact of virtues of respect, courtesy, and equality were forsaken for prestige, numbers, and $$$$$.
