Nile and Adam have so much compatibility as working partners and through Nile, Adam is introduced to many other well-known musicians like Avicii; it benefits Adam a lot because he needs this kind of high-level connections for his songs to be known worldwide.
Lay me down in darkness...Tell me what you see...that's the hook, also poetic, intimate; to see in darkness is interesting...
I like how Avicii jerks the disco music in spurts and starts.
Not only can Adam be the frontman for Queen, he's just as at home with Nile/Chic. In fact Nile's brassy/jazzy band fits Adam's vocals, like in Trespassing and Shady...it doesn't obscure his voice/nuances; similarly with Queen rock band.

Would not call Avicii a musician... he's a DJ, remixer, record producer of EDM. Even electronic musician sounds weird... Appreciate his talent in his special field, but appreciate REAL musician with REAL instruments much more... jmo.

Does Avicii play any instruments?

Avicii may not play an instrument, not sure about that but he uses computer/keyboard/synthesiser to compose his own music; does that not qualify him under the umbrella name of musician. It seems he calls himself a musician. Don't know him in depth but he is a highly skilled Dj. He could be called a digital/electronic musician perhaps because he composes and sells his own music apart from playing other artists' music.

I don't know much about Avicii, but to me, if a person skillfully manipulates music and creates new sounds with the music and understands the intricacies of how music is put together, that's a musician. The same goes for a vocalist or a guitarist or a pianist, etc. The word "musician" can be used broadly or narrowly. Adam is a musician. His instrument is his voice, which he uses with skill and technique and creativity to make music.

I love when Adam is with legends like Nile or Brian/Roger. They respect Adam's talent. Nile gave Adam one of the best intros ever. And when Adam has a top notch band to support him, he shines. And Nile will forever be one of my fav people because his work with Adam (especially on Shady) is superb. Next stop for Adam - Vegas baby!

As a cancer survivor, I tip my hat to Nile Rodgers. He's had a rough road and he's thriving - giving his all to give Adam the respect and audience he so deserves! Live long my friend!

Someone might say that a dancer does not qualify as a musician... but then another could argue that that when you think of how a dancer is told by their choreographer that they got the job because they possessed a keen "musicality" lacking in the dancer next to them... that dancer might feel every bit a musician at that moment. I suppose that is a very very broad use of the word musican... but for me it gives food for thought

If the dancer is a musician, yes, he/she could feel the musician in him/her. In the above context, musicality, to me means the dancer feels the music eg, rhythm, emphasis, flow and not so much to do with being a musician.
