The Upright was wonderful days.
History in the making and now the venue is in a different location.

I guess we are seeing these new "old" pictures of Adam because there aren't any new "new" pictures of him. The last was probably at the baby shower for Fergie, I think. I like seeing old pictures of Adam and noticing how he has evolved into the gorgeous, charming, sexy and stylish man that he is today. I really do prefer him without all the makeup and the glitz and glitter of the Glam Nation days. That was then. Now he is more mature, self-confident, dynamic, and handsomer than ever. And when he appears in a suit or a designer jacket, shirt and tie for some event, that look just blows me away.

Yes Adam's 'Upright' days. lol! This was what he wore when he sang Dust In the Wind. And in one video, many ladies just strolled up on stage, with no screaming, but just as appreciative, put their shoes on the stage. I was a little puzzled at first until the compere said it meant they loved his performance. And a waitress would just walk across the stage partially blocking the camera and Adam just continued singing. lol! Another 'Upright' song which I can't watch even now is, Come Home...he wiped tears with his sleeves when he sang it...heartfelt.

There seem to be so many pictures of Adam from the beginning of his career, that I would love to see a coffee table book of the best ones . But it would be so difficult to select just a certain number for a book because there are just so many from which to choose. Put me on a panel to make that final decision and I would gladly do the job. This collection of pictures would be such a great gift idea for the holidays or for any Adam Lambert fan. It's probably the kind of book I would want to look through every day.

Later down the road, Adam might write an autobiography accompanied with new/old, old/new pictures or a dvd of his colourful life. That too will be a top-seller. With regard to what I said about the ladies laying their shoes on his stage...I thought they didn't like his performance; but I thought that couldn't be. lol!

I was reading that Lea is in NY filming some scenes for Glee. They film there sometimes for the show..Well Adam is there too..Coincidence????

Chris Colfer is in NYC this week. Sounds like Glee filming to me. They do the exteriors in NYC so that doesn't necessarily mean Adam is in the first three episodes. But still exciting.

I just checked Stub Hub and iHeart Radio tickets for the Friday show are $556.00 to $5600.00.

Adam is in very good company with Lea...theatre/singer expertise and Chris...writer/actor/film producer. I feel something can mushroom from Adam's association with these 2 young experts. And Glee is an excellent springboard.

I recall you are well-versed on Glee cast actors...perhaps that's why you are so amused. lol! Now you have a new actor to cast your attention on. Nothing much has been said about Henry; perhaps that's why it's kept so secretive, if it's played by Adam. I have no doubt Adam is going to make a huge impression on Glee enthusiasts like yourself, regardless his cast. By the way, I read your expression about...if one dream doesn't turn out the way you want it, you would dream the next dream. Refreshing.

Supposedly the first two episodes of Glee will be Beatles tributes and the third is for Corey Monteith and how his character will leave the show, so I doubt Adam will be in those. If he is in NYC, we'll probably see some pics of him somewhere in the city. It will be interesting to see what the actual role is that Adam will be playing on Glee, but we will probably have to wait a while before he is introduced.

then Glee will take three weeks off for MLB.

Sounds like M5 and KC are having trouble selling tickets. It's a tough business.

We're all so excited about Glee! Whatever the role for Adam, I'm sure he will do it justice. He has a natural knack. Just being able to see him on TV again is enough for me.

The CW TV channel (see your local listings for station #s) will be airing the iHeart concerts on two nights, Sept. 30th and Oct. 1st. No "official" livestream unless from someone in the audience. Never count out that possibility for sure!

All of the secondary markets should be lowering prices on the ridiculously over priced tickets they have posted for the IHeart
Festival.
I've been told by people who have went in the past 2 years, they will come down, closer it gets to the show date. So hold out people, you'll get a good price, because they will not sell them all.

Just keep in mind that the "secondary" markets, at least Stub Hub for instance, don't set the prices listed for the tickets that are being resold on their sites. Those individuals who are selling the tickets on the sites set the prices. And they can be all over the place price-wise. And yes, the prices will come down but probably not dramatically until right before the event ie iHeart Radio Music Festival in LV, at least that's been my experience. I've bought last minute "day of" tickets and paid less than original Ticketmaster price for excellent seats (same with "day of" last minute tickets at the theater box office..). But you just never know what will be available.... I'm keeping my eyes open for less expensive than currently available tickets to iHeart 2nd night....And may do the last minute buy. But couldn't take the chance on Friday night :)) so bought the "cheapest" (NOT!) seats in the nose bleed section from Stub Hub....

Adam's smile just lights up a room, no matter the color or style of his hair, with or without makeup or the clothes he has on. He is really a gorgeous man and has that indefinable IT factor that few celebs have.(I just happened to be checking on some pictures of the younger Elvis on line and he had that same smile). Everyone wants to have a picture taken with Adam whether it's a fan he meets somewhere on the street or at an airport or some celeb at a party or event. His name is casually mentioned with others celebs even if it is at a baby shower for Fergie. He seems to have some very influential and important friends and connections on both coasts. Hopefully networking will get him opportunities for a good record deal and other projects in the future. I think the next year or so will be Adam's year to shine and get the recognition and success that he so deserves.

I am quite sure Queen in its early days would make Adam so called wild friends look like kindergarten kids. Adam and friends very mild in comparison to the wild days and nights of early rock and roll. Boy some people need to lightened up for sure.

I'm glad I get the channel here in NJ that will televise the IHeartradio show. I don't know if it will be live on those two nights(probably not)but will be shown a few nights later. Can't wait to see Adam with Queen. That should be the highlight of the show and bring in lots of new fans for Adam.

Not live. I assume it will be a "highlights of" program. 2 hours for 2 nights in a row. Since the Festival itself will be much longer than 2 hours both nights. The actual festival takes place on Sept. 20th and 21st. The CW programs are on Sept. 30th and Oct. 1st..
