Burning Man 2013 began on last Monday, and ends today....

Wonder if Adam misses not going this year.

He said the last time he went. it wasn't the same any more, I think that was his 3rd time. Also Sauli was with him. I think he has out grown it, it was fun, but now he is over it.

That is Markus Molinari. Someone saw that pic in his IG. I don't know who the other guy is.

And as for BM. Adam and Sauli where there two years ago. Sauli wrote that it was the best week ever, but he was there for the first time. And after that week you had to be in shower for two hours to wash all the sand away. There is a pic of them that I think is one of the best of them together (they are walking hand in hand in desert and Adam is looking up and smiling happily). But, yeah you might grow out of it at some age.

Wasn't it at Burning Man, Adam said he got his calling to be a rockstar; it seems under some starry night sky in the desert sand. I like the 'Trojan horse', the 'Flying saucer', the 'Steps pyramid' and the 'Effigy' of Burning Man. Actually I wrote verses on Adam and Sauli at Burning Man.

I think Adam is now used to live fancy life with fancy clothes in Markus Molinari's court/imperium. He can't go too far from his circles. The desert, sand, dust etc. are out of his comfort zone.

Someone commented that Adam used to be "over the top" but seems to be now mainstream. Maybe it is the Glee-effect.

I suspect that one of the reasons that Adam has decided (for the time being at least...) that he's lost interest in Burning Man, is that it's much harder to participate as a celebrity. Not so easy to be incognito...and free to join in as much...That was a part of his life that is now behind him..

Thank you for the UFO article and the video which I've to get back to, interesting. There seems to be two very strong opposing arguments and outlooks on this ancient alien topic which fascinates me but I'm not quite into taking it lock, stock, and barrel. Adam has said himself that he lost interest after the last one he went to...And (if you're referring to my comment at 9:49 PM among others..) I said "I suspect...." that Adam finds it harder to go now that he's a celeb. My personal speculation based on what I am thinking could possibly have some bearing as well. It's a guess. Take it as that....... As @Anon 10:47 PM said, those of us who have been following Adam's career remember what he said about Burning Man after he and Sauli went.

Actually adam said he probably was just there for too long last time. He was more famous two years ago than he is now and he didn't have any problems then so I doubt being known has anything to do with it.

what are you babbling about? Adam made that statement on the Larry flick radio show. Also, Guys camping next to adam had a faceboom post and said he was very friendly and shared his drugs with them. No unwanted pictures of adam surfaced. Way more famous people than adam go to burning man and everyone is cool.

And yes, the longer he is off idol the less famous he becomes. He is less famous now than he was two years. ago. He sold one fourth the amount of his second album than his first album, and had no hit songs. When people saw him at the VMAs the most frequent tweet was whatever happened to him? I forgot all about him.

the red hat looks to me to be on the head of Adam Lambert..I HATE to think of him doing drugs..I mean I know he smokes weed...but I really don't even want to know if much harder drugs come into play...unfortunately, he really is not that famous..poor guy just cannot catch a break when it comes to radio play..but he remains positive an true to himself and I have faith that he will be in the entertainment industry for a very long time..

At first glance, I thought the 7th pic, was Sauli. I am prolly wrong, but Adam seems to like most of his pics.

I think the guy in the 7th pic looks like Tommy. But might be totally wrong. Need new classes. But the red-hat guy surely is Markus - many have said it and I saw it at once with my poor eyes.

@glitzylady - I found bunch more pics with the red hat on Adamtopia..and, of course, you are rite..it is Marcus..sure looks like Adam..I think these boys have been around each other so much that they have adopted the same look for the camera..but..Marcus cannot compare with Adam in the looks dept.

Adam was in the desert last week, at least one night anyway. But not at Burning Man, he was at the Hakkasan nightclub in MGM Grand, Las Vegas.....chatting with the DJ.

Sue....Markus is a sometime actor, sometime director and a full time Hollywood/ L.A. celebrity. He is a jewelry designer and co-owner of a couple spiffy restaurants and at least I bar. Don't think running around in sand and having it all over is fun now that Adam has the taste of the good life. I think he had a trailer last time he went which was a stepup from 1st time with Brad Bell. I think he expected same experience and was disappointed. You know the saying "you can never go back". Must say those old pics of him riding around on a bike in the desert were pretty amazing.

Read a recent article about Burning Man and the controversy about technology raising its ugly head - referring to the use of cell phones being allowed or not. Their use kind of goes against what the festival is all about IMO. . . . Adamluv

Burning Man is an artist's haven. Adam will always be interested. Apart from the endurance and self-reliance survival challenges, BM is for artists to go to for sharing their art forms in the spirit of camaraderie. A little worrying thing to me is that the ultra fine powdery sand might lodge in the breathing system especially if a strong wind blows. As for Adam, I think he will never forget BM because according to him, it was there he envisioned a bright light and himself in it as a rockstar; also he and Sauli together, their love in the BM desert as well.
