I have a Mac, an iPhone, and an Instagram acct. and can't view it either. Probably some other issue in the process of embedding to the blog.

I agree with glitzylady, it's the blog. Probably small properties code. I don't have any of the up-to-date stuff glitzylady has, but I'm always able to see every thing put up here. This is the one exception.

what's with all the people playing with their cell phones? I guess no one mingles with anyone nowadays you act like you have business on your phone.

Evolution has destroyed heart to heart and eye to eye conversations.......now all you get is 'cell to cell'....pity...

JAK-only you could take that picture of the top of Adam's head and make a darling joke out of it. Your next sculpture! I must also add that you are so right about cell phones and other electronic devices having destroyed eye contact and heart to heart conversations. I can remember when Starbucks first opened across the United States with the theme of bringing together young, middle-aged and older people into coffee house conversations;you go into Starbucks now and all you see are multiple people staring into their computer screens and phones. There is rarely a conversation anymore or even a "hello" from fellow coffee addicts. Once in a while, when I am sitting outside, my darling little Jack Russell terrier gets some pets and love, but the world has changed so greatly with our worshipped electronics that the human touch has disappeared. When I read the essays of my college students and their opinions about dating and relationships in the electronic age, I am astounded at the lack of personal attention and real life conversations in their love relationships. The young women tell me that their boyfriends would never have the ability to write a real "love letter" to them, and not because they do not have the ability to write cursive. You would be doing the next generation a favor if you taught your pupils to write love letters.
A <3 is sweet but nothing beats a few words on a scrap of paper.

My father wrote my Mom love letters all thru WW II. I still have them, they are keepers...written on scraps of brown paper bags, pages from an Army manual, K-ration coverings and even on a piece of parachute silk. Some are mud stained, some sweat stained, even blood stained and all sing of his love for my mother and me. He was a poet in combat boots.

I have my own collection...my guy leaves one by my chair every night so I wake up to his wonderful notes, and I've gotten over wincing at his atrocious spelling!
....one of my favorites from a few years ago...."Seeing your sweet face on the pillow next to mine kick starts my heart"...okay, he's no Robert Browning!
