Singer-songwriter Adam Lambert, who finished as runner-up on the eighth season of the popular reality singing competition "American Idol," was a former Fiyero in the national tour of Wicked. He is known for his television and concert appearances, but has yet to take on a prominent film role. Fiyero would mark the perfect film transition for the vocal powerhouse.

They never pick the most obvious person for film musicals. So probably not going to happen. It would be wonderful if it did. I'm kinda surprised that its being filmed period.

Whoa! This is the biggest suggestion, idea so far about Adam in a film musical especially one he has done on stage. Yea I think Adam will do well as Fiyero; and in a huge way shatters the stereotype gay mode attached to Adam in terms of acting. The Wicked stage musical came to Singapore last year, a huge success. And I would love to see Adam as Fiyero in a film musical. I've watched many film musicals since the time of...The King And I, South Pacific, West Side Story, Ten Commandments, Jesus Christ Super Star, My Fair Lady, Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera...stage/live.

Oh left out, many Cantonese film operas...those, oh my goodness! The elaborate costumes and headgears really impressive with meanings to what was worn; even their movements had meanings. lwl!

Actually Adam was the under study for Fiyero, but he did have to learn all the parts. They are only thinking about making a movie at this time.

If I'm not mistaken, Adam played the actual role of Fiyero once, on stage in place of the cast actor.

Adam was the BEST fiyero ever! Musical theater is his forte.

He liked another photo of Sauli. Sauli is looking directly into the camera, very serious, showing his new arm muscle, new bracelets, and his oofta. I think that oofta means more to them both than we know. I have seen that Adam still has his.
Wonder if Adam will still be a vampire for Halloween this year? I don't think Sauli will be back for it.

I would love to see Adam on screen, that would be perfect. But yeh the person that said they don't always pick the obvious unless its AI and they choose J.Lo and call it a fresh change. Sarcastic I know but didn't like her as a judge the first time cant imagine second time round will be any different.

Talking about Adam playing Glampire, I've already done Glampire Parts 1,2,3. So if Adam is going to dress up as a vampire this Halloween, I might write my Glampire Part 4 poem. Might even include a surprise visit from Sauli as Dracula's long lost cousin, Saulcula. lol!

YES! YES! YES! Adam would be the PERFECT Fiyero in Wicked as a musical movie (I've seen the YouTube clips) and I know exactly who would be the perfect Boq, and who would be the perfect G(a)linda. I've seen Wicked heaps of times and loved loved loved it.
Isn't Fiyero a college student? That's a stretch age wise .
Adam said once that he got to play Fiyero "a few times" onstage when the lead guy was sick or something. So I think Adam played the part more than once. I'd LOVE to see him do it in the film, if that ever happens. The more we keep Adam's name out there in the public awareness, the better. It shows that he still has a lot of fans. BTW, I don't think Adam looks too old for the part at all.

JAK here....I think that is the worst photo I've ever seen of Adam. It looks like a wax figure in Madame Tussaud's in London. Glass eyes and all. That's one of the creepiest places I've ever been.
