Katy Perry first showed her love for Adam way back on Idol when she wore the Adam cape. I was quite surprised then and thought it might have just been a gimmick. Now in retrospect, it's not so much that, as she does love Adam in her own deep way.
I vote Adam's Marry The Night, Starchild style, song video of 2013; for artistic, innovative and boy! what a voice to spur this song to the highest possible note. This Starchild performance screams an award accolade! Not to mention the stylish tossing, twirling, jerking. lwl!. This is Adam's best performance to date, by my assessment only. Glee wanted to portray Starchild as ostentatious but I got the impression of professionalism and highly skilled...untouchable.

Adam and Katy Perry ... I think there is one missing. Remember the "candid", behind the scene's footage where Adam and Jake Shears are caught kissing and Katy busted them? Very funny!

Katy is an original and saw that quality in Adam on Idol. Talent knows talent and Katy was not intimidated by Adam as some so-called stars are. I respect Katy for that and I think that's why Katy and Adam are still friends today.
I also believe Lady GaGa saw that Adam was a star as well...nancdruuu2
