Thanks for posting, Ali! Fantastic how far-reaching Adam's name, and life, is.

Girl, read that book really good. We can use some of your gained knowledge, to mass communicate Adam's album, once you are done with that class.

Adam's name mentioned right next to Oprah W at no. 3 is all good visibility.

Can't enlarge the page no matter what I do, but I'm thrilled that Adam is in a textbook! And it isn't the first time, either. He's been in at least one other one. Our boy is there for all posterity!

Billboard magazine published 100 ways to promote a record, datas gathered from industry experts and the text book listed top 10 ways that promotion effected record sales. Adam is mentioned at no. 3 that with his aapearance at Oprah W back in 2010 sales of his album rose by 60%. Oprah's TV show had huge effect on record promotion.

3. Performing on The Oprah Winfrey Show (Adam Lambert saw sales for his album jump 60 percent after he sang on her show. With Oprah moving to cable, it's hard to predict what her future influence might be)

They also said if a song was performed on Glee, was a mp3Daily Deal on Amazon, if it charted on itunes, performed on lSaturday night live, after a successful concert tour, free single on itunes, found on a Walmart endcap (I guess my many attempts moving CD's to endcap @ Target should have been done at Walmart instead), a performance on the Grammy's etc, and then they give an example of each one.
