Apparently Adam will be working on Idol again today, as he was yesterday; they said they would be filming for a couple of days so far. Nice work if you can get it!

Oh my God, all of this is such great news for our Adam M Lambert; he is such a star!

At last, the good news is starting to really roll in; and anticipation is running extremely high regarding what Adam is bringing us next, and all future endeavors of his. Adam just brings excitement with him whereever he goes; he seems to be loved and respected by everyone he comes in contact with.

I have this feeling that this is going to be Adam's best year yet. The man has put so much hard work into his career, and I believe it is going to finally pay off in a big, big way!

He is such a good man. With the most beautiful spirit. The beautiful, gentle, fierce giant, with the big, big heart!

Resistance is futile!!

Adam drawn as a Transformer, very cool!
He definitely has had a big hand in transforming our society just by being his great, fearless self. He is such a superstar!

I'm soo proud of Adam. So many important people in the music industry wishing Adam Happy Birthday!

Really nice gesture of Idol thanking Adam for spending his birthday with them all day while they were filming and giving him such a beautiful birthday cake.

Also MTV drawing the caricature of him as a transformer! Adam really loved it.

I think Adam had a special day and I heard somewhere his party is Friday night....waiting for pics!

@9:54AM-I absolutely agree with your comment. I feel the same way. I am one of Adam's more mature fans and find him to be a mesmerizing performer and an articulate, honest, charming, witty individual. Like so many of us, I think that 2014 will be the best year yet for him.

OT

Check out MTV unplugged performance of Miley Cyrus and Madonna:

http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/997995/dont-tell-me-we-cant-stop-ft-madonna-medley.jhtml#id=1721351

How they can get away with their stage acts and Adam is bashed for what he does on stage. Double Standard!

Speaking of Ivy Levin, this was a tweet from her 3 days ago, before her tweet about Adam's party... Hoping this might mean a collaboration. And knowing what I know of Ivy's songs/vids, it could be very very good...and very very sexy. I wouldn't mind a music vid to go along with it...

Ivy Levan ‏@ivylevan Jan 27
Maybe @adamlambert and I are doing a duet soon... Who thinks this is a good idea ? A show of tweets!?(hands) ;)

@Anon 1:21 PM
Well, we know the answer to that question.. Not to mention, Miley and Madonna's performances were on MTV, not on ABC Network TV. Just about anything goes on cable..

And just for the record, I had no problem with what they were doing..

Anonymous said...

Love this joyful, positive thread! Adam is love love love. I love the wishes he is getting from other singers. Hope some good collabs are in the works this year! Mmah to Adam!

Why are we promoting Miley and Madonna? I don't give a rats behind about them or what they do.

Anonymous said...

@Glitzylady. I am sure if this was shown on ABC nobody would raise an eyebrow and audience would stand up and applause as it is seen on this video with already 50,000 FB share. Plus MTV will show this around the world.

@Anon 2:39 PM
You're not telling me anything I don't already know, and have known for a very long time :))

My point was that Adam was on network TV. Five years ago.. Perhaps if he'd been on cable it wouldn't have been such a big deal. Water under the bridge..

I suspect some would have an issue with Miley and Madonna if seen on network TV. I don't.. But yes, they'd get away with it. And they wouldn't be banned from other shows... Because they're a big draw for the network. And they're Madonna and Miley..

Okay, lets just put it right out there: Adam is a gay man and both these ladies are straight women.

That's what I was referring to in the first sentence in my comment. I didn't think I needed to "explain" that.. Really tired of the same conversation over and over again, to be honest....

I watched part of the Miley and Madonna show.. I thought they did a good job. I don't dislike either of them, truth be told. **ducks head** I like Madonna and I think Miley is talented, in spite of some of her over-the-top performances as of late.

In other words, it is what it is.....

No one will ever let AMA rest!!!! Adam's fans are the worst and insist on revisiting it more than anyone else. Again why are we promoting other entertainers???

glitzylady said...

The AMA's are part of Adam's history. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be okay to revisit the subject once in awhile. As the saying goes "It is what is is.." The AMA's part of his evolution as a singer and performer as well. One the plus side, he gained a lot of new fans after the AMA's, particularly around the world.

The performance may have been polarizing and controversial here in the US, at least for some viewers, but then when has Adam not been a little bit that way? Adam probably isn't for everyone (he's said that himself more than once..), but he's an amazing performer. [Personally, I truly hope that eventually, EVERYONE can come to appreciate his talent. I think that will happen...Just give it time..but if not, I suspect it won't matter to Adam, as long as he can continue to do what he loves to do best: sing and entertain.]. Everything that's he's done, every experience that he's had, positive and some things that might be considered negative by some, has made him who he is today. Just my opinion...

No one is "promoting" other performers. Their names came up in the discussion. Adam adores Madonna and likes Miley as well. I'm guessing he wouldn't mind seeing their names on this site....

glitzylady said...

**sorry about the typos...

glitzylady said...

And since we were discussing (not promoting :)) Madonna and Miley and Miley's "Unplugged" MTV special, here's a take on it, that mentions Adam Lambert, as a matter of fact, coincidentally.

This mention from the article from Socialite Life:

" I know I often bring up Adam Lambert, but did you see his Unpluggedsession? I would argue that Adam is just as outrageous as Miley–if not more–but when he performed he was truly raw. Watch him sing “Mad World” below and try not to be moved. While Miley was fun, it just wasn’t what I was expecting."

http://socialitelife.com/does-anyone-else-think-miley-cyrus-unplugged-wasnt-that-unplugged-01-2014

**By the way, I would beg to differ just a tad bit with the "outrageous" part re Adam these days... but all in all an extremely nice comment and shout out to Adam about his Unplugged (which was truly unplugged and relatively pure vocally) performance of Mad World (check out the one in the article above) versus Miley's not-so-unplugged "Unplugged".....But I suppose there are different interpretations of "unplugged".. Perhaps "acoustic" might be a better description?? Or not...

5:38

Why don't you just get off this site for your own good???

Anonymous said...

@1:21pm & 2:39pm here

I apologize for bringing OT related video and subject about other artists here. But it sort of relates to Adam and to this day some aren't comfortable with male with another male performance. As the article @Glitzylady posted the writer called Adam more outrageous than Miley even though with his performances he is fully dressed and covered from neck down whereas female performers are half naked. I'm not promoting the performance but I'm saying if females do it half naked and get standing ovation and tons of love comments under this video then it should be equally acceptable when male performers do it. That's all I was trying to say. BTW I loved Adam's AMA performance. I didn't see anything wrong with it. Also I'm happy the article praised Adam's unplugged performance. You all have a good night. Thanks @Glitzylady for your comments!

What happened to everybody here gets an opinion? I know there is plenty of stuff I scroll past. I'm sure we all scroll certain things.

Anonymous said...

Somebody says scroll and 8:15 responds with swear words. Real adult. Roll eyes.

Anonymous said...

because 5:38 was being a little stinker and outright mean, and it was very detectable. Swearing may not be necessary, true, and I generally fall on the side of IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE, and am quite familiar with the scroll tool myself, but sometimes a good old fashioned eye for an eye works. & @11:51, your snarky little comment was hardly the epitome of maturity... say what you mean and mean what you say, as some of the previous posters did.

Anonymous said...

7:13, this is 11:51. What I meant seemed clear. Resorting to swear words because you disagree with someone is very childish. You seem rather immature yourself with your response to me.

JAK here....I love the pic of Adam as a transformer. I took a photo of it and sent it to my g'son who IS the transformer Megatron at Universal. I told him if he ran into Adamatron to hold on to him till I could get to Orlando.

Anonymous said...

Well . . . at least they are still talking about Adam's performance at the AMA

Since then I have seen a lot changes on TV . . .

Anonymous said...

@JAK - Neat story! It sounds like your grandson is on his way to the interesting kind of life similar to his grandma!

I just watched the Madonna/Miley performance. Did anyone notice Monte Pittman was playing guitar? I know that's probably not too surprising since he has played for Madonna for a long time, but I understood this to be a Miley unplugged show with Madonna just making a guest appearance for this song....but if someone else knows otherwise, feel free to set me straight. :)
