Who are all of these men? They don't look like Adam's fans.
Oh, may be they are husbands Adam's Fans?
i'm pretty sure they are the husbands of all the Glamberts at Winstar concert pre-party
at first i was like "wow !!!"
then i realized you guys are right that they are probably the husbands of the glamberts. but i'm sure they enjoy adam's music too.
Adam has male fans too.. My hubby is a BIG Adam Lambert fan and has been since day one on Idol Season 8.. And has been to 4 concerts since 2010.. very willingly I might add. He is even the one who started us voting for Adam on Idol. "We have to vote for Adam!!!!!" Never count out the male fans as simply "the husbands of the Glamberts.." because many of them are "out and proud" Adam Lambert fans too.
Ha! That's cute, glitzylady!

@laura
As I was reading over my comment again just now, and yours (thanks!) I realized that my fanboy hubby has been to 5 of Adam's concerts, not 4.. Gotta give credit where credit is due!
I also wanted to add that when I went to my first Adam Lambert live event, S8 Idol Tour in Tacoma, WA, (where I got my first massive Adam Lambert-induced whole-body-shaking, heart palpitating-adamgasm-ing :) #OhMyGodHe'sHERE! #LIVE #InTheSameRoomWithMe!!) adrenalin rush, and where I thought I was going to literally pass out from sheer excitement and anticipation of finally seeing him in person...when his intro music started and as the entire arena roof nearly blew off from the cheers, the screams, the applause, the foot stomping..all for Adam Lambert...) (ooops, got sidetracked again..by the memory of it..) (hmm..where was I..Oh yes...) my friend and I chatted with those sitting around us, a wide demographic of older, younger, men, women, singles, families...and every one of them was there to see Adam Lambert. Every one.......At least all of those we spoke with.... It was definitely a hint of things to come... at least for me...
Thank goodness my entire family are fans.... makes life so much easier for me! They "get" it...
@Glitzy, love the account of seeing Adam live for the first time!! I've yet to do so, but when I do (not if I do), I hope to have the same feelings! My husband is too jealous of my fangirling to be a fan, but my teenage son really likes his singing and considers him one of the two best singers he's listened to.
I should know this, but a pre-party for which concert? Thanks.
RESPECT!
Why are fans expecting a huge or small tour with Queen, when Brian May is in the throes of MRI's for cancer. It was reported he is in agonizing pain in back and hips, and could barely stand. All this was done around Christmas, and they are still waiting for results, and further scans.
@4:22AM
'Positive,wishful,hopeful,glass-half-full' thinking,I suppose.
4:22 Bri wrote that he's much better now, with little joint and muscle pain thanks to his son Jimmy. "Not all xrays reveal broken bones." @4:34 I like you. Thanks for your post in answer to 4:22. Classy.:)
My hubby is a fan, too! Been to a few shows with me. He really "gets" it doesn't mind my flailing and gushing at all. I'm lucky!

@Glitzlady.. thank you for sharing with us your "first time "... I did not really have that feeling during my first concert of Adam which was in the open air and started at 11.30 pm (way beyond my bedtime).... but when I saw him last year and i was just 1-2 meters from him... wow I was so in awe that I could not move... so happy that he took the time to perform live somewhere around the globe, beneath the equator... Axel.
The typical age range of his fanbase back home in the US...
It is the husbands of the usual front row crew. Adam does have many younger male fans too (as seen in Pittsburgh, NYC, Miami, etc) but they just didn't go to a New Years Eve concert in the middle of nowhere.
I apologize if I have already flailednabout thisnbefore but so glad I documented my first time meeting Adam. There were about twenty of us in a radio station. You can tell by the little "Oh my God!" in the background hownwe all felt.

The last time I checked Oklahoma was in the Midwest. What you call the middle of nowhere we call home.

One can't help but flail over our sweet boy.... A little story I was a GNT concert in KC.... standing directly behind me was a couple ..that looked to be in their late 60's.... The husband was so excited he could hardly breath ...His wife explained .... He loved Freddie and thought he would never see or hear anyone close to him again.... then came Adam....he thinks he's in the presence of greatness again .... gotta say I agree....rose petal
8:34, the casino is in the middle of nowhere. Sorry if you live across the street from it. You know it's not a major destination unless you live in the area or are desperate to see Adam perform.
What is with all the.... lately? Has everyone.... forgotten.... proper punctuation......?
@8:52am It's part of Internet language to grab attention, I suppose. I think it's cute.....! :)
How does dot dot dot grab your attention? I haven't seen it anywhere on the internet or twitter. Just here. Weird.
It's..... Distracting.
9:41 did you write, Just here. Weird. as sentences? or use the dot as an attention getter.lol
That casino in TO is the biggest in the world. Many celebs go there The band Train was coming next.
A reviewer said they came from far and wide to see Adam so I guess plenty were desperate to see Adam.
They stood in line for hours in BM to see him. Celebs go far and wide to perform not just Hot spots all the time.
Adam performed Miami twice in little over a month end of last year.
It's the biggest casino.... In the middle of nowhere.....
........
......is easier than searching out punctuation keys, it's more like talking......in phrases......it's easier to read.
Especially in run on sentences. If you are reading on a phone or mini iPad it's easier to separate sentences and read more quickly.
.......and what difference does it make anyway? I'm not turning this in to be graded.
.......no grammar police allowed!
What? Sounds like lazy typing from some of the comnenters here. I don't see this other places either.
11:07AM, Talking in phrases.... Is probably as annoying.... As writing in phrases.
@rose petal, love your little story! It's nice to have all the male admirers of Adam! Are you in the Kansas City,MO area? That's where I was born.
11:40 talk about lazy typing comnenters.
I like ........ Phrases. It's cute. Easier to separate your thoughts when you are using your ipad or other mobile devices.
@daydreamin
No I'm from Joplin...but my son in law is.. from KC...we go there for concerts and such...I just love the old down town area....Adam was at the Midland Theather beautiful old building...rose petal

This is rose petal, I use the... because I like it...I don't really like to do what's proper all the time ...I have to use proper puncation at work and everywhere else ...I'm sorry if it bothers you...I'm not lazy I'm just different .
Heh hee... This is the funniest (as in feeling good funny) thread in a loooong time.... thank you every... tom...dick...and harry....
@rose petal
My sincerest thanks go to you!
Love the way you write...maybe because it feels familiar... and comfortable... leaves space (for thoughts) between sentences... and feels like you're (almost) talking to yourself (lol!) or to the recipient... I've always written pretty much the same way in my 'notebooks' (cheapest therapy there is!...) and also in some extent to dear friends...back in the day when letters were still written by hand... snail mail, what an awful word...pony express, so much better! Or better-er, to quote Adam...
O.... M....... G....... It is not hard to use proper punctuation on a public blog where others are reading what you wrote. To me all the ellipses make it harder to read.
In so many cases where the person used .... a period would have been more appropriate.
.
Maybe we could take all the energy wasted complaining about the .... and supply all the power to New York City.... just sayin. ;) (Semi-joking here)
