Do your thing Adam; by giving great thoughout advise; and really caring.
I think the contestants felt very comfortable with Adam and felt that he had really cared about their improvement.

Great to see Michael Orland and Adam together again. Selfish me would have loved to be with just Adam and Michal Orland, as it was a few years back. Thought Adam did great with the time he had.

The reviews are coming in for Adam and they are glowing! Love his passion for helping these contestants with his best advise in such a fun, invested way. He really needs to have a permanent role on this show. His advise is spot on and the kids can trust him. Plus, as glitzy posted about a review, Adam has "Major Hunk Factor!"

I'm selfish, too. I want to see only Adam. Ha! But he did a great job and I think the viewers liked him. He sure does gives this show a spark of excitement. And yes, Adam and Michael Orlando are a wonderful musical team. Hope they can really work on something great together sometime.

Where are these reviews?

10:29am ... Yahoo news this morning has an article about it, wondering what Randy's help was all about and praising Adam and Chris.

Just google American Idol mentors and you'll find many more write-ups.

Thanks for asking. I'm sure many here will want to read all about it!

I only recorded the show, because Adam and Chris were on it. Apart from their mentoring which was good and to the point, I was bored to tears with the show itself. I saw no spark with the girls, now I know why I stopped watching this show.I thought the whole point was to have mentors to help the singers. That was shown as an after thought. Randy was a joke, it was all about him. Adam 's mentoring was so edited out that we hardly saw him. Overall was very disappointed, don't think I can take another night of it. I can only say I am glad it only took 2 days out of Adams life, and now he can concentrate on other things.

In relation to the overall disappointment with the show last night, I would have liked to see more interaction of the girls with the many mentors lined up for them in order to really get to know them. Loved seeing the few glimpses of hunky Adam, but from an objective point of view I couldn't even judge his mentoring skills based on the few seconds I saw him. I think Adam and Daughtry were just used to create hype. @11:06am, my sentiments exactly!

My 2 cents - for what it's worth. LOL. Actually was surprised the show was better than I had expected. In the minority here on this site but I enjoyed Randy's comments. Even enjoyed hearing from Daughtry. Loved MK's voice (my favorite), adored the last singer with the glasses and braces. Dont care for the judges. @Glitzlady and others - thought Harry C's comment to the young girl re: lyrics of her song was very inappropriate and sexist. Bet he wouldnt play the morality card if the Singer had been a boy. Thought his other comments were off as well. Had a favorable opinion of him until last nite. Anxious to hear the boys sing tonite. Loved when Majesty said that her favorite singer from Idol was Adam!!!!! . . . Adamluv

Ya, Adamluv, some good comments.

I really did love the young girl who sang Paris Oh La La when she was "in class" with Adam. I thought, with Adam's input, she could pull it off. I understand if her backstory was of a pure, innocent girl the song may have not fit her. But watching her with Adam I wanted to hear MORE. I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't hear her sing it live - distracted by work.
She may be getting mixed reviews, but I'd like to hear more from her in this vein.

Forgot to mention the playing of Adam's "For Your Entertainment" in
the background last night on Idol.
At least their was a nod to Adam - 2 points for Idol. Hopefully, tonight will show more Adam!....nancdruuu2

@xo laura

The girl who sang Paris Oh lala is Emily Piriz who did such an amazing job in Hollywood week.
I was looking forward to the live shows after so many amazing showing in Hollywood week but it was disappointing.
It could be the studio because they moved to a new one because I would say no one sounded good in the live shows IMHO.
