Adam looks more like Elvis than anyone I know. And to honor Elvis in this way is wonderful. Even more so to us is the fact that Adam is among these elite artists - a place he has belonged since January 09.

He sure looks more like Elvis than any of the other celebs in the book. I think it's a very cool thing! I have had many dream of Adam being on SNL doing an Elvis take-off. He'd be great!

JAK, Tom Jones was knighted in 2008 but I guess you already know that. Mick Jagger was made a knight in 2002.

Adam is much more handsome than Elvis Presley.

It's an honor for Adam to be included in this photographic tribute to the King of Rock 'n Roll, Elvis. Adam sure is in good company. I'm very proud of Adam that he was selected to be included in this special project. Sounds like, according to his tweet, that he is happy about it too.

My mother was such an avid fan of Elvis and all of us children too. She watched all of his movies the first day.
Tom Jones was a favorite of the family too and no one can bother us when it's time to watch his TV show then, having our food in front of the TV.
We've gone to four shows of Tom Jones in Las Vegas all these years.
I wish Lisa Presley all the luck & happiness in her life.

I remember Tom Jones in his younger days - back in the 1970s - boy, could he wiggle/thrust his hips - and female fans used to throw their knickers at him. Ha! Adam could relate to that very well! :-D

So excited to see scotty mccreery in this book!!! He is finally taking his place among other else artists and getting the respect he so richly deserves!!!!!

Many of Adam's fans are not teens. In fact, I would guess that most of his fanbase is composed of women in their 30s to their 70s. I am part of that group and also was a fan of Elvis. Both Adam and Elvis were born in January, had blondish hair as young men and then changed their hair color to the darker shade. Both had close relationships with their parents esp. their mothers. Certain pics of Adam, esp. the profile ones and the younger pics of Elvis make you think that they are brothers. I do think that Adam is better looking and has a better voice over all. Elvis was certainly a showman and Adam also has an amazing stage presence. It's great to see Adam featured with all those other stars in this Shades of Elvis book.

JAK here.....I was 20 when I met Elvis, he was 21 and I spent about an hour with him backstage. The longer I was there,the less I liked him. By the time I joined my friends in the audience I was thoroughly disillusioned.

Then he came on stage.....WOW.....he turned a switch on and was IT! Magic....I was a forever fan of Elvis the performer but not the man.

At the same time I never missed a Jerry Lee Lewis concert. He was a wild man. Completely crazy and fun! When he performed the walls shook.

Early rock was mostly black artists or country artists.
I lived in the South so there were many record stores who did not carry Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley or 'Big Joe' Turner.....my boyfriend bought them for me at the Air Force base.

I lived thru the dark days of segregation and thru the awakening of a conscience in our society, and you know.....a mutual love for music played a part in that big step.

IMO Adam's biggest fan base worldwide are teens and twenties.

Adam could one day possibly receive an honorary knighthood but since he is not a native born UK citizen or Commonwealth citizen he would never be allowed to use the title Sir.

Correction Adam is not 34 years young; he just beacame 32 years of age on January 29, 2014. But, you are right he is a handsome young man at any age!
