Please listen to the official soundcloud from On Air with Ryan Seacrest instead so they know there is interest in Adam. Ryan has been doing lots of stories on Adam lately. Let's support that.

Ryan is such a fanboy, love it!!! People can say what they want but Ryan has always been very supportive of Adam. And when he says he's happy for Adam, I believe he really means it. He's been on this journey with Adam just like us. Now I will listen to the official soundcloud!

Love that Ryan said Adam is such a super star, which we know. But it's nice to hear.

How did you get your tickets before presale? I'm from LA. I want to know. Hope you visit back this thread to tell me how you got your tickets in advance from The Forum.

Tickets are out there already in limited amounts for most venues on the tour... Check Stub Hub, etc.. etc.. Tickets are always made available to patrons of venues, etc.. and others, before the official pre-sales.. But of course at increased prices..as always.. To be honest, I've used reseller sites many times when it's been necessary, due to "sold out" venues, or the desire for a better seat.. It's all in where you want to sit and how much you wish to pay. And also FYI: a sold out event will usually have tickets available to buy, for a price..And sometimes at less than face value, if bought at the last minute via instant download. Right or wrong, It's just the way it is...

Stub Hub Tickets for Queen + Adam Lambert (there are other sites as well: VividTickets.com..etc.., all with tickets available). @Anon 10:17 AM speaks the truth, and CONGRATS! BTW..)

This is 10:17 - I got my tickets thru MyCityRocks, a ticket agency I've used before. So, I received their e-mail this morning, immediately checked for the concert on 7/3 and there were already only a few tickets left for the center stage that I wanted. So, I bought them (2)! And yes, as I said, I paid a fortune ... but this is a once in a lifetime chance to see Queen + Adam perform live! It is SO worth it!

Ryan really loves Adam, I think. He has always been supportive. He gets him. Nice to hear them talk again.

From the looks of it, I better rob my bank account and order tickets for the concert right now!

This is 10:17 again - and by the way, my name is Linda. I just checked Stubhub out of curiosity and section C right in front of the stage ... and where my two seats are ... is already sold out! So, people, if you want really good seats and are willing to pay the big bucks, I recommend you do it right away! At least that is the case for the Forum on 7/3.

Hi @Linda 12:05 PM!
So excited for you!! Thanks for mentioning your name..so much easier to keep track of.. I hope you continue to use it here... will be excited to hear your up close and personal report after the show!

I do want to mention that as the pre-sale and the general sale come up there will be more tickets available to buy on reseller sites.. So perhaps all is not lost for those who wish to be realllly close to the stage.

But I've also noticed that sometimes the best prices and the best chances for good tickets ie close to the stage etc.. come right after the tickets are released in various sales, etc.. So it was wise to grab those while you could do so..

As an aside, I'm considering LA if I can get the time off from work.. I'll DEFINITELY be going to the Vancouver show, as it's within easy driving distance for me, just over the border (I live in WA state).. My fanboy hubby will be going to that one with me.. And then I'm planning a "girl trip" to Las Vegas with some friends.. Hoping to combine LA and Las Vegas... Fingers crossed....

Hi Glitzy - I agree that more tickets may - and probably will - become available down the road. But my fear was that the prices might only go up even higher. Besides, 'a bird in the hand' and all that. Now, I KNOW I'm going and have got great seats and actually haven't stopped smiling all day. Ha!

Anyone who can't decide whether to buy now or wait. Buy now! Then you will be done with all the aggravation of trying for the 'right' time.

@Linda
As I said, you are a VERY wise woman! (I've done exactly the same thing myself a time or two...) and for anyone else here, if you find a ticket that you just can't pass up, I would just say "Go for it!!"

So much to look forward to in June and July!!!! And if we're this excited, just think how excited Adam, Brian, and Roger are!!! It's going to be one massive party this summer!

The resellers/scalpers do not have access to all the tickets. Linda may say the section was sold out but it is only sold out of the limited amount of tickets they had at the moment.

I don't think it is wise to encourage people to buy extremely high prices tickets before tickets have even been released for presale or general sale.

That being said, the more of you who buy up scalper tickets now, the less that will be online Monday trying to get regular tickets at the same time as me. So yeah, everybody should go buy tickets now, quick before the scalpers run out! ;)

We get it way back already. Yes indeed. I am proud to be a Glambert.

Those of us who can not make it to these concerts, there will be people that will video tape the concert for us. I am so grateful for all of this. People will go out of the way for others. I appreciate this site 24/7 so much. Thanks again everyone.

I don't suppose those who have seen Adam multiple times will let those of us who have never seen him buy tickets first?

THANKS Ryan!!:) Our Rock God is a superstar indeed!!:)

I'm buying the tickets soon for Toronto concert!!!:)

Thanks for the belly laugh!!
HAH HAH HAH!

@9:51 I was thinking the same. Brian is Adam's European dad. :)

Anonymous said...

The people who live in the cities the concerts are in will most likely have radio stations giving tickets away thru contests and promos.

Anonymous said...

Nile is Adam's dad in the US. Eber is Neil's dad. At least that's how I think.

A few more thoughts:

Absolutely true that only a portion of the tickets are released for each pre-sale, etc.. so I assume many more "good seats" out there still, at least before the next round of presales, and the general sale, etc.. Some are always held out for friends, family, VIP's, (and sometimes are released at the last minute to those who are just in right time at the right place..). And another heavy portion of seats are given out to local radio stations for promo/give-away to lucky listeners (which I have tried and failed every time to win...). So that reduces the ticket pool also.

An extreme example: only about (estimated) 35% of the tickets for iHeart LV in Sept. were actually available to the general public.. Not really the same as Adam concerts, or Queenburt, but it still made it nearly impossible to get tickets through the general sale at Ticketmaster. No one I know was successful. I have two friends who won radio promo tickets, and the rest of my friends had to go through Stub Hub, etc.. It was either that, or stay home..

And of course there are those who have access to the sales a few minutes before the actual sale opens. Unfortunately true again..

But still plenty of opportunity. I've never had the best of luck in presales for Adam's tickets.. But sometimes yes.. And that's why I've had to resort to Stub Hub (about which I've learned a few things along the way..). More than once the concerts I wanted to go to were almost instantly "sold out"..

And this is why it is okay in my humble opinion to decide to buy the inflated-priced tickets if one choses to do so. Not promoting that, but it's an option. For instance, Adam's River Rock show in Vancouver, BC., pre-GNT in early 2010 almost instantly sold out in the general sales and presales. And I had 3 others trying to buy for me and a friend.. No luck. (I was still an Adam Lambert concert newbie then and thought "sold out" meant sold out..Nope..). And then I heard about resellers. And made the decision to buy through Stub Hub. I was able to go. And am so glad I did.

As I said earlier, "it is what it is"... we all have to make our own choices..

I've been lucky enough to get tickets to concerts during a presale, during the regular sales and one time we got row 3 in the week before the concert. I had no problem getting tickets to River Rock. You just never know. I'm glad I've never had to resort to scalpers.

glitzylady said...

I guess I need your luck :)) , because I clearly have very little at times.. I seriously had 3 people all working on the River Rock concert for and with me and nothing, right from the second it opened for online tickets.. Oh well :)) I used that as an example because I was really disappointed to be completely aced out in the sales.. And was happy to find another means to go.. but at over twice the cost of a regular ticket. A smaller (and fabulous) venue with high demand for Adam!!... We do what we have to do..

Not saying I haven't gotten tickets through regular channels, because I certainly have done so, but not always what I'd hope for. I've had front row exactly once, and that was wonderful, but I've had my turn and for this Queenbert tour, I'm just hoping for a SEAT in the venue, specifically Vegas! I have a feeling it's going to be difficult. And since I'm not tall..at all.. I prefer something on the side in the bleacher seats where I don't have tall people in front of me (maybe), because as we know, everyone stands for Adam.. and Queen... So the floor "seats" and/or floor GA is generally out for me..

And I also would like to mention that those seats that are put up on reseller sites sometimes go unused, which is crazy because there are often really great seats. Sometimes the asking prices go down as the time for the concert gets closer. Sometimes below cost, if the seller is smart and can get something out of them. But sometimes they are still there, unused. Sadly. The tickets have already been bought and paid for by the original buyer. I'd rather Adam at least have those seats filled instead of having some really great seats go empty, for him to see and wonder "why?".. Maybe an oversimplification, but I like to see those seats filled for Adam.. :))

So I'm wishing everyone excellent luck in the next week of stressful ticket buying....Shaky hands, racing hearts, sweaty palms, will be in evidence all over North America, and beyond.... Hoping for lots of YAYS!!!! And hopeful no #%@^$#....

'ya know, I think that Adam himself would say ... If you can't afford it, the YouTubes come out great Glamberts!! Save your pennies, do your thing, live your own RL to your best, and enjoy me and Queen after fulfilling your RL responsibilities! Keep that in mind Glamberts & do not let feeling badly deter you from making smart financial decisions for yourself. You will have your moment another day, maybe it's not this summer, be smart, be responsible, ... and rock on happily with the YouTubes from GlamNation, because they, like me, never disappoint! ;)
