Adam seemed to have a good local following in those pre-Idol days. To him, singing is like breathing. He can't live without doing it.

Those Upright days of Adam were perfection! Historic infact especially since the place has long gone from it's location too..(although opened up in a North Hollywood now)

No matter what size of the venue, Adam has always been the definition of a performer. He was meant to be on a bigger stage and I'm glad he took the life and career changing step onto the Idol platform. That's how I was introduced to him. I'm feeling sentimental now about this gifted man and his incredibly journey.

My favorite from that night was Come Home and Can't Make You Love Me. I have watched those videos many many times.

interesting and good that media is bringing back older performances.,,.

These are classics in Adam's career. Anyone who only saw him on Idol is missing out on some great performances.

I can't say enough about this young man. Vocals are right on. I remember listening to Adam practicing through a door at one of his Glamnation tours. I was so fascinated over his singing, before I even went in to see his concert. Don't ever miss a change to see this young man sing in person. You will not regret it. Such talent.

I agree with you all! Adam is a young bright shining star, that shines much brighter each time he performs. He is absolutely beautiful inside and out!

I am glad that SOME of the media is finally waking up and giving this young man his proper dues!

Incredible performance! I've watched some of the Upright Cafe performances that I could find on the Internet and I'm always blown away by Adam's amazing talent. What a gift he is to us and I'm so grateful that I've been able to witness his climb to fame over the years. What an amazing journey!

His voice never sounds the same. He changes it up so much. You can listen to differnt songs and the voice sounds different everytime. A versatile singer. Brillant

Listen and watch him sing Dust in The Wind at the Upright. At the very beginning he almost starts to sing and realizes it's not the right place (the audience does too) and then he gives this adorable smile and sings so beautifully you want to cry at the sound of his voice. The video is priceless and so is the singer.
