Freddie means a lot to Adam. :)

Like Elvis, Freddie was a phenomena, gone too soon.

What does dusted mean?

Anonymous said...

9:07 I think it means with make-up on. Adam had an Ig of himself using the word dusted posing with Sutan and he was wearing make-up.

Yeah, Freddie's wearing eyeliner & dark nail polish in this pic.

Freddie was so macho at the beginning of Queen.
But so obviously effeminate at a later stage.

He was a troubled man. Adam is so secure in his life, he's not haunted. He lives proud.

Once again the bigoted beliefs of so many of Adam's "fans" show up here using derogatory language like at 10:52 pm.

"Effeminacy describes traits in a human male that are more often associated with feminine nature, behaviour, mannerisms, style or gender roles rather than masculine nature, behaviour, mannerisms, style or roles.

It is a term frequently applied to womanly behavior, demeanor, style and appearance displayed by a male, typically used implying criticism or ridicule of this behaviour (as opposed to, for example, merely describing a male as feminine, which can be non-judgmental). The term effeminate is most often used by people who subscribe to the widespread view that males should display masculine traits and behaviours. Generally, the description is applied to individuals, but may be used to describe entire societies as an inflammatory allegation."

For you to say such, did you know Freddie personally or is that merely a bigoted assumption? It's of no concern to me whether Freddie was masculine or feminine. He was a brilliant singer/performer and sadly, he died in the prime of his life.

Freddie Mercury came from a different era to the present one. Homosexuality was kept in the closet in those days whereas now, things for homosexuals have become much more free although there's still a long way to go before homosexuality is universally accepted. Freddie might have been insecure but it certainly wasn't evident when he performed, and he interacted so well with the audiences.

There was no bad intention by 10:52 only stating a fact, so much provocation from all these shitty PC.
