Brian May comes across as humble, knowledgeable and very wise; but lately I see he's getting a bit flustered by irksome people; but he's not the only one. In my small capacity, I have taken some of the nonsense spewers to task. The last time, Dr Brian scolded someone: "Screw you mate." And now he's rebuking with, "idiot" lol! Looks like I can keep my cool quite well, perhaps with greater exposure and practice in this concern regarding Adam. But I kind of like the expletive exclamations. lol!

Brian is NOT going to let ANYONE criticize Adam, in any way or form. Or anyone in the band. BRAVO Brian for your integrity in handling these idiot people.

i know Brian gets inundated with these kinds of tweets all the time. Most of the time he just ignores it but i'm glad Brian finally called a couple people out for talking trash on Adam!

Actually I take all these jeers and sneers more lightly now; I used to fight tooth and nail, just like Dr Brian; but I think these venom spewers are out for a quick fix of attracting attention or more sinister, out of jealousy. They just can't stomach the fact Adam can achieve such immense fame and fortune; that Adam can climb so high or even beat out a lot of the so-called regular ones. They just can't accept that so they sling mud.

I'm sure Dr. Bri has held his tongue so many times, but sometimes just can't stay silent. These silly and ignorant haters are pathetic. Adam's talent is so obvious to anyone with eyes and ears. In the days before Twitter, Facebook, etc., this sort of negative spewing of insults by so-called fans was far more rare. I can't blame Bri for speaking out.

Doubt they are Queen fans. Real Queen fans you ask about Queen best albums and they tell you politely which ones to buy for starters and then what to buy after.

There's only so much that even a composed soul like Brian can take. When it comes to Adam, who he highly approves of, he seem to turn into a "mama bear" and rightfully so. Good for him to call out those ignorant and disrespectful fools.

I think Brian May is a saint to have to hear endless drivel from so-called Queen fans. Why do these people even bother to take the time to annoy such an icon as Dr Bri unless they are simply idiots as he indicated in his response. I say right on! No one knows better than Brian May how hard Adam is working on this tour as well as the entire band. Brian knows talent when he sees it and he knows Adam is fabulous. I admire Brian more and more each day! Queen plus Adam Lambert is an amazing tour and I think they out-due themselves with every performance.

Go Brian!!!! There is one thing that comes to some of us with age....other than aches and pains....it's a free feeling to express exactly what you mean. Life is short why "suffer fools gladly?"
