Cuz he's the leopard that stares

This domesticated leopard smiles
So gently like a dove of the isle
That traverses the foamy seas
And now back for a little breeze
Before he takes on the next steep
Flight of stairs in twos and threes
Singing, mesmerising hearts he sees
Wherever, whoever they may be
Ordinary folks or those with high degrees
Like Dr Brian on his cosmos keys
Adam treats everyone the same
Same love, same espirit

Good morning, I as was driving to work today...(listening to Adam of course) I got to thinking about how many emotions are incorporated in a song. They us make happy , sad, tell us stories,induce us to dance...no matter our lack of dancing skills...lol...comfort us and so much more. So I wrote this little verse in my head on the way in. I would like to share it with you...it makes me think of music which makes me think of Adam, funny how most things make me think of Adam;)

Right now I'm humming Born to be Wild!
My daughter arrives soon and we are taking Scarlett out for an extended test run.....I finally thought the time was right for a power chair.....so I picked out a bright red one!
We are planning a day at a huge mall....full speed ahead!

Off I go, as Steppenwolf put it....I'm "looking for adventure in whatever comes my way"'........

Rose Petal, I love love love your poem! It says so very much about what Adam conveys to us with his astounding voice. It's a perfect expression of his soul and how we peek into it.

JAK, What a fun post! I was so glad you were here to see Rose's poem. So glad you and Scarlett are a team. Hope you two have incredible adventures together. I have a feeling you were both "born to be wild." Watch out for those speed bumps in the mall. I can just visualize you and Scarlett becoming completely airborne as you zoom down those long, wide aisles! Mall security: be on alert!

BTW, my own "Scarlett" is a little red 4-speed, stick shift Caliber. We've had our share of adventures, too.

I love your poem was going to tell u ealier but was in a hurry, my stupid job expects me to be on time... Really!!!!. They are aparently unaware of the inportance of following Adam;)

You might better check to see if the mall had a speed limit, anything over a hundred u go straight to jail. Anyway that's what my husband told me many years go when he gave me my red Corvette for my birthday. I worried u wouldn't be able to follow Adam from the slammer;)
