Brian May on Adam Lambert fronting Queen: 'I don’t know if it’s a marriage, but it’s a very good affair'

Queen sensation Brian
May has defended Adam Lambert as the band's current singer and revealed
that he performs the well-loved songs with passion and the respect they deserve.
During an interview with Nik Carter backstage at the recent Classic Rock Awards, May confessed that he's amazed at how effortlessly Lambert fits into the group and also into the coveted and protected position of frontman for Queen:
"Adam is beautifully confident, but he’s never arrogant. He’s always respectful. He’s always looking for the right way to do things. He brings himself to it, that’s all I can say. He’s not an imitator. He doesn’t need to pretend to be Freddie, in any sense whatsoever."
The iconic guitarist went onto add that while he can't talk about the distant future, he can say that for now having Lambert in the band is a fantastic addition that works very well: "I don’t know if it’s a marriage, but it’s a very good affair."

Mmm, Dr Brian, fishy fishy affair lol! Now, I happen to think it's a marriage that has taken a span of 5-6 years to mature. It was love at first sight for Dr Brian lol! I saw the way he ogled Adam at the S8 finale, hardly taking a second look at Kris. Hey, but Kris too is a mighty talented artist, so good with his keyboard and guitar; good person, always praying. But ! it was Adam, Dr Brian was eyeing head to foot. lol! Just watch some of the QAL videos if you think I'm exaggerating. Brian watches Adam on stage with agog expression and his fingers stay put on the guitar. Not bad, stage front row seat. lol!
Who can't resist this Amazing man???:) 2015 will be another high and busy year for our Adam and I'm always ready whenever he needed someone to help him change his outfit he!he! Marriage or affair I'm satisfied with the result.

An affair of The Best Kind...Infatuation at first sight... Patience... Not hurrying things..Everything happening organically... Every time they meet it gets better...and better-er... Then they pause... RL calling... But can't wait for the next time... and then they hook up again and... It Is Kinda Magic... Magic....MAGIC!!!! (GUITAR!)
