Queen Defend Adam Lambert As Frontman: “It’s A Perfect Marriage!”

Brian May’s had to defend Adam at times, during the band’s summer-long tour of North America, from old-school Queen fans who still think only the legendary Freddie Mercury should be singing legendary songs like “Killer Queen” and “Another One Bites The Dust” and “We Will Rock You.”
One thing May thinks every fan who saw Queen rock the stage this summer has walked away with is seeing the undeniable PASSION Adam brings to the spotlight, each and every night.
“Adam is beautifully confident,” Brian May said, “but he’s never arrogant. He’s always respectful. He’s always looking for the right way to do things. He brings himself to it, that’s all I can say…
“He’s not an imitator,” continued May. “He doesn’t need to pretend to be Freddie, in any sense whatsoever.”
What did Brian May think will happen between Adam and Queen, in the long-term future?
Brian wouldn’t answer that question. He did, however, confess that Adam Lambert sharing the stage with Queen is a perfect pairing for everybody.
“I don’t know if it’s a marriage,” he laughed. “But it’s a very good affair!”
Adam himself meanwhile had these comments to make last month, when Queen was awarded the coveted Band Of The Year honor at the Classic Rock Awards in Los Angeles.

Just a few points to consider: About your on-going snarky remarks re this story being repeated here on the blog (in more than just this particular thread).:
This is an Adam Lambert blog... We post Adam Lambert-related stories here... @Admin Fan, who is currently the main contributor to the blog ie posting Thread Topics.. works VERY hard to bring us the latest, even if we've seen and heard it before.. She took over most of the duties from the Blog Owner/Administrator when it became impossible for her to do it (and is by the way, hoping to get back to being actively involved eventually.).. It takes a LOT of time to keep up this blog... And she does a fabulous job, IMHO. I help out but don't have the time that Admin Fan does..
Instead of being snarky (and apparently, rather impatient with us), I would respectfully suggest you just scroll on by if there is something you don't want to read, or is something we've seen here before, in a slightly different form. It's entirely possible that someone else has not seen it.. Or doesn't mind seeing it again. Not everyone reads the blog every day.. And sometimes these posts are passed on via another source, say on Twitter, within another blog.. etc..and this information could very well be new to them.. We've had 24/7 blog posts passed on by Queen's Official Twitter acct. before.. So just bear with us..
