"TeamRock Editors choose their favourite opinion pieces of 2014. Fight-starting features on the likes of Metallica, Queen, Guns N' Roses, The Beatles and Monster Magnet. Let's face it, the internet was basically built so that music fans could argue the toss about their favourite bands (whaddya mean "No it wasn't?). But opinion pieces don't have to be the equivalent of rolling a grenade in a rom and then watching the carnage. They can champion the underdog, tell an over-looked truth, stand up for the good guys. Here's five of our favourite contrary Marys from this year:"

Why Adam Lambert Is The Perfect Man For Queen In the age of Facebook, when any news of Adam Lambert's work with Queen is greeted with instant derision by those who spend their lives instantly deriding such news, we found a man willing to argue back. And then we asked him to write about it. He talks a lot of sense:"

"What's with all the hostility? Queen and Adam Lambert are made for each other"
"Queen are back on the road, with American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert stepping into Freddie Mercury’s stiletto heels to belt out the band’s hits."
"See them in concert – I have – and it’s clear that Lambert belongs with Queen. He’s got an astonishing voice, he inhabits the band’s material while putting his own spin on it, and he has great chemistry with Brian May and Roger Taylor on stage. So why are some fans fuming?"
"Thou Shalt Not Worship False Idols Go on Facebook or the Queen forums, and you’re greeted with a torrent of abuse. Lambert’s a manufactured pop performer, they say, riding the coat tails of an iconic rock band to success – and desecrating the memory of Freddie Mercury in the process. They couldn’t be more wrong..........."

So many valid points made! Adam is perfect with Queen!
Haven't yet read the article, but this headline statement/question has been a nobrainer for me from the first "Mamaaaasa"... :)))
