3:35 pm, wow, I've never seen that before either. Especially from a charity. Hmmmm.
They were on to my attempt to vote with a fake name and phone number. Didn't work.

I normally don't give away personal info, but I did some research and it seemed safe. So I went ahead and did it to test it out. All I got was a text saying they would send me updates about dosomething.orgs charities, which you can opt out of by texting STOP (says so under the vote button). I did so, and it stopped completely. Doesn't seem to be any malintent here--Probably just checking that voters are real people & trying to promote the charity. Took the plunge for anyone who wasn't sure & wanted to know!
