At this year's Classic Rock and Roll Honour Awards ceremony that took place in Hollywood, Adam Lambert and rock band Queen emerged as big winners.
The Grammy-nominated pop singer shared his excitement on Twitter on their big win.
During Queen's August 27 show in Sydney, Australia, they were joined onstage by "Mother Monster" Lady Gaga. A month prior to that, they rocked New York's Madison Square Garden. In the meantime, as a solo artist, Digital Journal reported that Lambert has inked a record deal with a new label for his forthcoming release. The "Whataya Want From Me" singer had served as a guest judge on American Idol in its New York auditions as he filled in for Keith Urban, who was absent due to a family emergency. Lambert will be reuniting with Queen in 2015 as they tour Europe and the United Kingdom. It will kick off on January 13 and it will include tour stops in Paris, Berlin and Milan. And Nik let it slip on twitter that Adam's album is being produced by the renowned "super-producer" Max Martin of Sweden (although I think we **sort of** already knew that was a good possibility, since Adam spent 2 months in Sweden earlier this year, with Max Martin and his production team... so it's okay Nik!!!  :)))) ***Max Martin is the producer for Taylor Swift's new (and already HUGELY successful album "89") so thinking this news bodes VERY well for Adam in 2015!

Former Queen frontman Freddie Mercury died from HIV/AIDS in 1991, and now the remaining members of the band, along with new lead singer Adam Lambert (who were recently named Band of the Year), will be teaming up with RED in order to help the organization raise awareness and funds to help eliminate HIV/AIDS in Africa.

Lambert, as well as Brian May and Roger Taylor from Queen have become well known for their respective philanthropy and charity work over the years and this joint effort is just the next logical step. The supergroup has announced that they will be offering their fans the opportunity to spend time on stage with them before their next concert in London and also to visit the studio they use in Switzerland.
They have made it easy and inexpensive to enter the contest as well, with a $10 donation paying for 100 entries and landing participants with a limited edition Coca Cola Social Media Badge. Opting to pay $10, 000, however, will get you 100, 000 entries and an autographed guitar and drumstick from the band.

 "A representative for Brian May denied that the star had paid to have his guitar flown in first class, saying: 'Brian did not take his Red Special (or any guitar) to Los Angeles for the Classic Rock Awards.'"
