So. Could this be true? Adam and Tom? Tom called Adam in Twitter "My boy". Adam was glowing with happiness and could not keep his eyes from the up right balcony. Was Tom there? I called the Ninjas on other thread (about his New Year resolution) and named Tom. If I was right, I must be the Ninja of the Ninjas, lol.

Tom is young musician and so very good-looking cutie pie. They have met in London earlier and now again. I'm so happy for Adam if he found finally "somebody to love".

Tom is in London, touring with his band, and will be moving on to Amsterdam soon. How's that for ninja-ing :)) Actually, I just checked his Instagram page..

This guy was on Australian Idol so they have that in common anyway.. Beyond that, who knows..

Adam's beard did not look that thick on NYE at the concert. Also, this looks like an old picture I have seen before!

The picture is of Adam and his friend Tom. Tom has a lot of hair! He's cute.. He's in an Australian pop/rock band, "At Sunset".

He posted the picture of Adam and him on his band's Facebook page today, with this caption:

They have met also earlier in London; there is at least one photo of them in Adamtopia's thread today from August 2014. Maybe you remember those photos.

Polaroid does make a couple of different "instant" cameras. The one I saw was like a blend of old and new technology. Rather fun. It could instantly print a regular looking photo or it could print with the traditional Polaroid border.

Too bad Adam can't be photographed with another guy without all the innuendo and speculation.

Though I do think it is a specific type that is making the posts here...

Just some thoughts....

"My boy" is a type of colloquial way among young guys today to say "my bud"... "My homie"....etc. I've heard male corp. execs even refer to their guy friends with whom they play golf as "my boys"....

In my thinking, that sort of casual public reference sends a fairly clear signal that they are just acting as buddies to hang out with. If I remember correctly, this friend is also a musician - a guitar player for whom Adam has shown support, as well.

I personally think that if Adam was getting involved with someone.... It would be more discreet with a fair degree of privacy.

All good-natured speculation, of course.... Just my two cents.... :)))

Yes, to everything you said. Shame some people aren't as level headed and like to stir the pot! Apparently Tom was at the NYE show with his long term girlfriend Emma. Sweet that he wrote his first single, "My Girl" about her.

My thoughts exactly.. Anyone who is close to Adam is always extremely careful with his privacy.. And anyone who becomes involved with him in the future will undoubtedly be very discrete in what he posts on social media, always... Adam is is reality a very private person these days, and will probably continue that policy. This picture is in all likelihood a picture of two acquaintances who either went shopping together because they're in town at the same time with career related business/gigs or they simply ran into each other while shopping at Selfridges, which is a huge draw for visitors to London.

It's good to have friends, and in this case, friends who have gone through the reality show process.

Hey! No cracks about Polaroid cameras.....that company helped pay my college tuition! My smiling face was in a 1955 Modern Photography magazine pushing the sale of those "miracle" cameras.

We used to have one at work but had to discontinue because the film was no longer available... A digital camera took over the duties...

They were definitely the cool thing back not so long ago!!!

And Polaroid cameras are back. I wouldn't be surprised if your grandson had one.

Yes, Polaroid cameras are back! Some young ones getting them for Christmas presents. Everything old is new again as they say. I'm sure they are better than ever with some new technology. I have great memories of old Polaroid pics!

Anon 5:19 PM....I have my mom's old scrapbook of all my old magazine photos and postcard work. My daughters and their friends used to laugh hysterically at my beach poses (not my idea) trying to entice tourists to the Gulf Beaches in Florida.

The worst was a Parade cover of me in a Esther Williams swim cap....turquoise rubber flowers. yuk!
The funniest is me smiling lovingly, passionately at an camping grill for a Coleman outdoor gear ad.

Like me, the photos are now crumbling around the edges! Modeling was semi-fun. Mostly boring.

We had a Polaroid camera for years. Instant gratification! I remember watching that image emerge from the card stock until the picture was clear. Now digital has replaced it all. JAK, it sounds like you had quite a modeling career. Maybe you could still find a way to preserve those old photos. Scan them and digitize them or something. Would love to see them!

Who knows what's happening in Adam's love life, if indeed he's having a love life. I've read some of Tom's tweets & he really likes Adam a whole lot! He was a contestant in Australian Idol many moons ago. Didn't do well but now he's in a band. He looks younger than he is.

Tom met Adam when QAL performed in Sydney. There were pics of Adam with Tom & others on Twitter at the time.

No big deal. So Adam meets a guy who has come from American Idol, in Australia. Probably had some interesting conversations comparing the two shows, Adam was performing on AI the same year. Adam is such a better singer than this guy, Tom must listen to him with his mouth open. I have listened to this guy sing, he is like in kindergarten, and Adam is like a graduate from college in comparison. Don't mean to put Tom down, his asset is strictly being cute, and young girls are getting so excited over him. Another Bieber, doesn't matter if you can't sing if you can make young girls hearts go pitter patter.

Or even middle aged girls.

Adam is bound to meet many pretty boys in his QAL travels. Maybe "Somebody To Love".

Have not seen many pics of this guy,but he looks totally too young... to be traveling the world alone...looks like a lost inexperienced teenager! And the pic above, I thought that was a gurl with Adam. (not being nasty or trying to provoke anything, just my honest opinion)

Checked his insta. After this pic here he has posted a pic "Late night shower"... What these young people do for getting hits, getting fame....

Meant Australian Idol, just got used to saying American Idol. I did say in Australia. I know he was on Australian Idol, the same year as Adam was in America. Still a poor singer. Absolutely no comparison to Adam. He is cute , Adam is handsome, also no comparison. But he will be on his way doing gigs opening for other groups.

Not comparing Tom to Adam vocally but he's a pretty boy & Adam likes pretty boys.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Obviously same goes for pretty and cute. IME this boy is none of those.

Tom is not a boy, he is a man.

The most important thing here is this:

He's a friend AND a fan of Adam's.

He's in a band, he's touring in Europe. He sings. He was the youngest top 10 finalist on Australian Idol. He seems very sweet. He's older than he looks at 22.

Apparently he's been bullied in the past for various reasons. How 'bout we keep that in mind when commenting about him..

And be happy that he has Adam for a friend (because that's pretty darn special).. And vice versa.. Seems Tom looks up to Adam, and values their friendship.

He is probably a nice guy like Adam, and just possibly a little star struck. At least I would be, if I was shopping with Adam.

When this picture was posted, it said cropped and edited, what does that mean. Does that mean they might have been with other people , who were edited out of the picture. I noticed that Adam is muffled to his ears, and Tom is just in a t-shirt. Is it possible they were not actually standing together. Just wondering what that meant.

OMG, the stupidity.

I don't know Tom but I feel for him with all the nasty remarks made about him here. It happens over and over when there are pic/s of Adam with a guy. Keep the nasty comments to yourselves instead of posting them here for all the world to read if they want to.

Tom Williams was in Australian Idol in 2008, not the same year as Adam in 2009. He was eliminated during the Top 10 Results Night. The final season of Australian Idol was in 2009 (thank goodness).
