We can tell he has been working out, his abdomen is much flatter and thinner. He may have trouble keeping his pants up, unless he keeps using a belt, or buys smaller waist pants, LOL.

Adam looks so good...that smile just makes me melt. It would have been great if Adam were one of the presenters last night on the show as a prelude to the release of his single in April. Did anyone think that Nate Ruess was a bit manic and crazy performing last night. For me, he doesn't have a great voice and seemed to be screaming to reach some of the notes. I kept on thinking that Adam who is such a great vocalist is still reaching for the success he deserves while this performer just seemed to be straining throughout the entire song. And I hope that Madonnas's"Ghost Town" doesn't cause confusion with the release of Adam's new single in April. What a coincidence that these two artists release a single with the same title within a month of each other. Anyway, it was great to see Adam seated in the audience and looking so handsome and I wish him nothing but success with the new single and album.

I agree about Nate Ruess of Fun, I cringed when Adam had to sing a duet with him with Queen, at the Las Vegas I-Heart Festival last year. He seems like he can't stay still, could be from drugs, or possibly his personality. But he definitely has no voice, although he did say that Adam had the best voice he has ever heard. Couldn't believe it that Brian and Roger OK'ed him to perform with them.

I am not sure, but I believe the Queen/Nate Ruess collab at Iheart last year was actually a "make up" of sorts, from a different gig where Nate was supposed to sing with Queen, but it didn't happen. Perhaps someone else can chime in here with details/specifics. Also, I believe I recall reading that it was a dream, a bucket list sort of thing, for Nate to sing with Queen... I think it's very nice that Nate had that opportunity. It was of no lasting consequence that Nate took the stage with Queen and Adam at that moment in time (and in fact, he, Nate, suffered greatly by comparison to Adam's vocal performance that night imho. I do not like to ever bolster Adam up by cutting other performers down, but in that particular performance, it is difficult to deny that Nate suffered greatly in comparison after taking the stage with Adam).

However, having said all of that, perhaps we should be careful when espousing theories, in print no less, as to why Nate Ruess possesses a certain demeanor on stage, yikes.

Also, Fun is wildly popular, wildly successful, and good for them! If one follows them, they might just discover that they find Nate and the guys to be nice fellows. JS

4:17pm here again

Just wanted to add that even if the Nate/Queen collab wasn't a "make up" sort of thing... the fact is that Fun is extremely popular and was just coming off a good year and it made perfect sense for Queen to collaborate in some fashion with a very notable and currently successful chart topping artist/group. Those sorts of collabs are an integral part of the newly developing IHeart experience. Big Names collaborate on stage with Big Names, that's just the way it is. Fun had just come off a great year, with a lot of success on radio and the charts... it was not unexpected in the least to see a collab that would include FUN. JS.

For Adam's and Queen's non-US fans Fun was not expected nor fun at all, no matter how nice fellows they are. Plus Nate's voice... let's just say Queen songs are way too demanding for him! And having Adam there next to him...made it even more painfully obvious. Js, too!

Wasn't that concert already back in Sept 2013? How time flies!

Well 6:08, Nate has been featured in a mentoring sort of role on "The Voice" 2 weeks running now. Nate & Fun are chart toppers, not much room for debate. They get good gigs, like this "The Voice" appearance, for a reason. That is taking nothing away from the incomparable Adam Lambert, whom 8 adore. But to not acknowledge the very BUSINESS like decision as to why Nate/FUN would have been paired with Queen at IHeart by its Producers is to bury one's head in the sand as to the realities of the current Top 40 scene, IMHO. Additionally 6:08, perhaps you found FUN no fun at all during their Iheart appearance, but it was quite clear to anyone with eyeballs watching the broadcast that most young people in the audience appeared quite pleased to see Nate/Fun, whose songs they knew by heart, up on that stage. I don't care for Nate's voice, as I don't care for Levine's voice, I find them rather weak, bot to deny the reasoning for both of their many great gigs and appearances and invitations etc., is to bury one's head in the sand as to the realities of the current music scene & inextricably entwined business world. Just my POV, is.

Everyones taste in music is different. We are also inclined to critique other singers in comparison to Adam, who actually does have a great voice, I personally thinks a lot of singers sing because they like to sing, and it matters not a hoot whether their voice is good or not. Also the public often doesn't care either, if they like the songs or they can dance to them, or they have a catchy tune.
Adam needs the catchy tunes, he already has the voice and looks and charisma, but why has someone like Nate made it so big. I don't care at all for Sam Smith, he doesn't have the looks, or a good voice, but I really like his single, and so do thousands of others, and he is new to the business, and he is raking in the awards all this last year.
There very well could have been a good reason that Nate got to sing with Queen and Adam, and it was convenient, because he had his own time at the Las Vegas gig too.
I thought it was an odd statement to make at the red carpet interview with Nate, that he said he was glad he could wear sunglasses , because then people couldn't see his eyes.

@Anne Marie, I totally agree with you in how enjoyment of a singer's voice is a very personal thing. I absolutely love Sam Smith's voice as well as his songs and was actually kind of pissed that either he or John Legend (with his song "All of Me") didn't win Song of the Year at the iHeartradio Awards the other night and that Taylor Swift's song Shake it Off won! Nothing against Taylor, but that song is just fluff to me.

As for Nate Ruess, I enjoy his singing and songs because he has a unique sound that feels heartfelt. I also am a big Adam Levine/Maroon 5 fan. Levine's voice is distinctive and he actually seems to have a pretty wide vocal range. His songs are also catchy as hell. All that said, can't wait for Adam LAMBERT to knock 'em dead on April 21 though!!!

I posted a few times above. I liked your post, thanks for sharing.

And oh my gosh, I like T Swift also, but I soooo agree with your frustration over her win(s) against many stellar artists in her catagories. I have seen her in concert, make no mistake, that little lady commands huge arenas like a pro, great show, but a LYRICS award in that category with those other artists... whatever ;). Are the iHeart awards fan driven? Are they sales driven? Even the Grammy's now, as has been widely written about but industry people, experts and people in the know, make much of music SALES and chart positions now, which was never the case in the past, and for good reason imho. Well anyway, I have been meaning to look into that. I will Google it :). Again, I enjoyed your post. Have a good day.
