Adam Lambert took a break from putting out a brand new studio album to front for Queen on their global tour, provide his vocals for Avicii‘s True track “Lay Me Down,” and to commit to several television appearances in between. Now, after three years of patiently waiting for a new record, the former American Idol alum has announced his upcoming album, The Original High, as the follow-up to 2012’s Trespassing.

From WBR offical press release: "Adam is set to make a number of national television appearances in support of The ORIGINAL HIGH starting with the Ellen DeGeneres Show on April 30th."
"A number of" is a good sign. Ellen us just the beginning. "National" could be just about anything, anywhere. Looks.like the hype will be kept high right up to TOH ' S release. Hope it works.
