Special guest what they call an opener. If he is really performing I bet it's only one song. They have a big lineup of stars

He's definitely performing as you can see by the tweet we posted here via KTU's twitter..

He's one of the stars by the way :)

Bravo glitzylady! You tell it like it is!!! Thank you glitzylady! Or, as my friends and I say, "like it "tis"!!

Happy days ahead for our Adam; so proud of him!!

Well glitzy, who knows if the intern who handles the Twitter really knows what the deal is. Special guest is what he was at wango tango, basically just introducing someone else. It's always a term used for an opener as well. The Stars were announced long ago, they just squeezed in a couple minutes for adam.

Special Guest, WOW! They are going to see just how special he really is!

Well, they may have thought Adam was still performing with Queen. When they found out he was free and going to be in town, they probably couldn't wait to bring him aboard. I bet there are a lot of entertainers who would love to be invited as a special guest! Adam has STAR POWER, no doubt about that!! The fact that he is gorgeous is an extra bonus.
So happy for him, he is probably in seventh heaven about now!!

Looks like the promo is getting into full swing!!! Can't wait for radio spins to increase and Adam to be all over the media. I know it takes time, but I have so many hopes and dreams for this man :)

I do just have to jump in and say that the person posting rather negatively upthread does have relevant information... I don't really love the tone of their posts, but there is validity in what he or she is saying. It does seem 'tho that at least Adam is performing, so that's cool, but even if he were only presenting, that still would have been awesome when one considers the event/venue/crowd... just presenting still would have been a win!!

2:29 here again

This was online also:

Excerpt:
Adam Lambert, whose hot new single "Ghost Town" has raised expectations for his upcoming album "The Original High," will be added to the already star-studded lineup of KTUphoria at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on May 31.

The official announcement is expected on KTU/103.5-FM at noon from DJ Wendy Wild, with other special guests to be announced.

So, when the article says "with other special guests to be announced" ... maybe we shouldn't assume, @May 19 11:47AM, that it isn't a typical occurrence, with these types of events, for various open slots to be left until late in the game.

It will be a very short set from Adam. Besides having many performers Adam will only have Ghost Town off his single by then. He can add in his hit WWFM, but I'm sure he doesn't want to rely on old material that most of the audience has never heard when new material appears in just a week or two after this performance.

May I just say that it isn't etched in stone that ADAM won't 'possibly' do other songs from his new album The Original High ... Underground has already been released .. not as a single yet .. but nonetheless it is known to the public via Ytube. Perhaps ADAM has yet another surprise in store for us. Mind you ... this is only conjecture on my part but ... hey, ya' never know!! ADAM might just do a song from his other two albums that was never released but ADAM sang on one of his tours ... ADAM is always full of surprises (Red House .. Stay) ... like I said ... stay tuned folks ...

With a lot of artists performing, maybe he'll sing Ghost Town & Underground. It figures seeing these are the 2 TOH songs released as singles, and he'd be keen to promote these songs. It's all good!
