Digital Spy: "Live In London": Adam Interview & Performance

UK's Digital Spy has done a wonderful piece which consists of two videos: "In Session," a full performance of GT that takes place in a moody, song-appropriate warehouse space, with Adam singing live to track (his band is present, but just for effect); and the second, an interview, "Adam in East London," which also contains behind-the-scenes footage of the performance shoot.  Incidentally, Digital Spy seems to be giddy on the fact that Adam does an impression of Kermit The Frog singing "Rainbow Connection," as evidenced in the title of the piece (see below).

Unfortunately, there is no embed link to be found on their site, so you will have to simply open the link at the bottom of this post and watch it directly on their page.  Note that when you first open the page (see screencap below), the first video that is up is the GT performance, after which the interview vid starts automatically.

Just for me, the whole piece comes off better when you watch the interview first, then the performance.  If you choose to do that, simply click on "Adam in East London" first and that will appear in the larger screen above it.

Thanks to one of our Anon posters for leading us to this.  Enjoy!

8:38 am, I agree, that and the AT40 song of the week are important because they give Adam so many radio spins.
Here is the favorite song of the week link.

But I was coming here to post this Z100 Artist of the Summer. The contest is almost over and it would give Adam excellent visibility if he won this contest on one of the biggest stations in the world.

Lots of voting and streaming today :)

So parts of that video are faked? The band isn't playing? Are we sure Adam is really singing?

After seeing this performance I am more convinced than ever that Adam does not need any dancers.

He didn't have any when touring with Queen and the recent gig without them was lovely, too. Backing singers are probably a good idea but dancers are just an unnecessary distraction.

1d is beating us by like 99% on the z100

I'm convinced he doesn't need a band. They are just faking it. Why pay them? We can tell its a track they are using.
Almost, or all of this albums songs are full of sound board noises. Push a switch-drums, push a switch-bass, whatever you need, you got it.

@8:38, thanks. I just voted. I will go back to do so again. That is a great voting opportunity as it brings adam GT spins! Thx for leaving the link!

I was wondering about Adam's band members also. It seems that with almost every performance appearance there are different members of the band. I could understand that happening in Europe, but doesn't he have permanent members here at home who travel with him to perform during the promo tour. They have to learn the songs that Adam is going to sing for each show he does. I don't know anything about sound boards and switch drums or basses so you could fool me if they are not really playing. BUT Adam is singing live. It will be interesting to see who is on stage with him during GMA on Friday and then during his appearance on the Kelly and Michael show taped earlier this week. Whatever he is or isn't doing with these songs, I do like this new album and can see several single hits coming from it.

I believe you are the one who is mistaken, but perhaps it is myself and 8:38. I will look into it later if time allows and try to post here again - not for you, as I have this suspicion that you are also 4:04pm and I think your tone sucks and I don't really care to interact with you... but I will try to look into it and get back to post for the sake of people who do tend to vote (which, to be candid, is not me, I don't vote much, but some people really do, and some polls are definitely more worthy than others). If you are so sure of yourself 4:06pm, why don't you illuminate for us the reason, that would be more helpful than your previous post.

4:29 here, my post was for June 18 4:06pm. And since I am needing to post again, allow me to add that I don't mean to be passive aggressive with you - I'd really like to know how you now for sure that the poll in queston doesn't garner a spin if won, I thought it did, and I'd love for you to tell me where in the fine print, so to speak, I am missing the relevant info.
