Updated with Adam's retweet of the Billboard Article:

EDITED/UPDATED with New Billboard Article by Shirley Halperin:

Article includes links to the Photo Shoot and The Video shown here on this thread...

Adam Lambert on Bonding With Sam Smith, His New Sound and His 'Dark Side'

Introduction to the article:

"Adam Lambert looks like he's ready to kick some ass. Sauntering through a penthouse at the Hollywood landmark Chateau Marmont, the 6-foot-1 singer towers over a cadre of assistants in a pair of throwback club-kid platform boots that lift him a good half-foot off the ground. To complete the look, Lambert is donning drop-crotch pants and a tight black tank, showing off his arms, which are newly muscled and heavily tattooed, with much of the ink acquired during the last two years. It's a gloomier, rawer look for the former glam-rock revivalist, one better-suited for a guy who calls his inability to be content his "dark side." "

Loved this photo shoot. Seems they tried different ideas to film him.It was a bit different. I loved every picture, and every angle they took of Adam.
I saw something on another site, that amused me, someone said Adam goes to bed every night with a huge curler in his hair, and that is why he is single. LOL

Great LA Times interview with reporter who wrote about QAL concert at LA Forum last year:

This quote is from the writer of the interview 11:22 AM posted. This is not a good reputation for the fandom to have created.
"Your fans are very vocal about what kind of artistic decisions you should be making."

I really liked the Billboard interview by Shirley Halpern...very informative and comprehensive background info. Of course the photo shoot was beautiful, how could it not be with Adam. It doesn't matter what angle the photo is, he looks perfect in every one.

I just ordered my copy of this issue WooHoo!!!!! Thanks for bringing the article and video here! I truly enjoyed it and have already re-watched it several times LOL!

The Billboard interview and photos are like a sumptuous feast of Adam! Delicious and beautiful. He really bares his soul in so many way. Thanks for posting all this great stuff. I can't believe all the promo he is doing this month. It's almost nonstop. The UK has been such a hard nut to crack, but it looks like it's happening. Major coup.

11:30am, that's a great article. I'm on reporter's side though that nobody should tell an artist what they should do. I felt with QAL, Adam was restricted to have his own spin on Queen songs.

11:30 and 11:45 am -- OMG! You two are so wrong about the QAL tour. Adam's take on the songs was in total respect for QUEEN's incredible legacy. That reporter (if at all credible should have realized that it wasn't an Adam Lambert tour but a Q+AL tour! I love that Adam stood his ground with that reporter about QAL and that HE DID INDEED have a lot to say during show preparations and decisions and also about his fans. Fans don't usually TELL Adam what to do. He's a grown man. They just let him know what they like.

12:35 PM, I am 11:30 AM. Please be a little more careful with your reading. I did not say anything about Queen or the QAL tour. My comment was only about the reputation the fandom has.

Glad he got some face time with that reporter who most of us thought should not be writing reviews period!! Anyway done and Adam said the right things. One question about the pants he's wearing??? Lol need a clear picture ...

The Dark Side, what an ignorant thing for fans to think. Though I suppose if he wrote a negative review of most pop music on radio, suddenly they would agree with him.

The idea of "opinions" and "tolerance" is so lost on most of Adam's fans.

Woah! That interview with Mikael Wood! O^O Arrogant much! I'm glad Adam stood his ground. QAL was/is superb. Adam wanted to respect what he was doing and he did so in truckloads. Win/win for both Queen and Adam. I'm also glad that he records the music HE wants to release and not pander to the whims of some of his over-entitled fans.

I'm curious how much more the interviewer thought Adam should switch up the Queen songs? I thought Adam did a great job of singing them and didn't really copy them, but gave them his own flavor and spin. I do think if he had changed them up too much, the audience that grew up listening to Queen wouldn't have liked it. I will say the interviewer seems to have a lot of respect for Adam's talent.
