QUEEN members Brian May and Roger Taylor, along with "American Idol" finalist Adam Lambert — who has been singing for QUEEN on their tours, filling in for his idol Freddie Mercury — recently completed a South American run of dates.

Mmm, Adam has suddenly become part of a Living Legend ! Now, I'll quote a bit of Shakespeare... 'Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.'
So...What category do you think Adam fits in here...Let's see...ahh, I think it's mostly the second category but quite a bit of the third, not so much the first but not so fast, he was born to sing...HMV. lwl!

Adam with Queen has achieved greatness, Queen with Adam have achieved renewed honor. I'm sure we'll never forget , what I think it is the D-day of their collaboration, Belfast-EMAs 2011 https://vimeo.com/94762084, there Queen were honored with the Global Icon Award. I think that the grandness of the moment couldn't be possible without Adam's performances. Now I hope my wishes will come true, they will play another unforgettable medley, new songs, new arrangements.

Hey Pan... Another of your fire-in-the-belly comments! Very apt indeed. Yea, this Belfast EMA 2011 sealed the fate of Adam and Queen. I think nobody expected that kind of synergy/gestalt. I was head-over-heels over them especially Adam; even now as I watch it again, it's still so raw and powerful. There's something about Adam and Brian; something very breathtaking when they come together; Brian running after Adam on the curved stage and then stopping hurriedly to look down to play his guitar, like making sure he got it 100% accurate; so vulnerable and sincere. lwl!
Hey Pan... you pointed out something really stark...Queen was honoured with The Global Icon Award, without Adam at the 2011 EMA. This time, Living Legend Award has Adam standing right smack in the middle between two Legends. lwl! One small step at the EMA 2011 effloresces into a giant leap for Adam. lwl! Pan... Adam won't be at the Awards...it seems he would be singing on the Great Wall where he is much loved. lwl!
