AdminFan...I watched the whole show last night but didn't see those behind the scenes. Thank you for your postings.
The Adam segments are well-done...everyone so upbeat; he should have been stretched more; perhaps get him to dance a bit to the Brass Nation band which he had high praise for. He did make a few sexy moves; nothing to worry about !
The rest well, I've gotten used to that sort of rehearsed stuff. But this 'Not The 5 Show' does try to highlight things that matter to Singapore. For instance, Singaporeans had better take heed with regard so many young people wearing spectacles! My guess is they stare at tiny written texts on their gadgets whole day! I see that everywhere, in the lift, on the bus, at the mall, even when they are walking on the road. One suggestion: Go more for things Nature has to offer, a whole lot more one can see and feel there ! than all the gadgets combined. The other point subtly focused upon, was the designers/tailors making a denim/leather jacket for Adam, using a photograph to guide them with regard his likes/fashion....quite touching. Not only the making of the jacket...they are Muslims, girls wearing scarves...perhaps take home something from Singapore, here.

Adam seemed, to me, to be tired and mostly bored at this show. It was good publicity for him, but he wasn't his usual peppy self. Liked his jacket, he probably went with Sauli to buy it, Sauli has a cousin or a friend who works at that store, Adam has bought several things from there. Another night of , hopefully good sleep, and he will be on fire for his NYE show. I wonder if he was serious about the possibility of having to change what he was going to wear for the show. Hope it isn't leather, he will die with the humidity. Happy to hear he will have all new outfits for Qual in June. Nothing wrong with what he has worn before, but it will be interesting to see what a different stylist does for him. Haven't figured out how to see the NYE show, except by videos afterwards.

Anne Marie... It's so warm like Adam said. Why not, don't wear anything lol! He did that before on the musical Hair...with only a fan to shield the elements. lol! Oh drama the next day, we'll get another 20,000 petitions countered by 25,000 who loved it! lol!

You may be right about him feeling tired...he just got off a 16+ hour direct flight from LA to Changi Airport...the taping was done very soon after that, if not on the same day. I remember Enlai the host, mentioning jet-lag, in general.

Hi Lam-My, yes humidity is very draining as well as the jet lag. Remember he probably had some late nights with Sauli before he left LA, including the party at his home with all his close friends. But I am expecting him to be in top form for his headliner show. He is so much more relaxed now with his band. So glad Terrance is with him, I think he is especially a very long time close friend. What a nic gig for his hair dresser. She was at his party, I am assuming she will be on the tour.

Anne Marie... Adam came out strong on the Singapore NYE kick-off for his Original High Tour...he said it was especially tailored for the Singapore Countdown and Sing fans. Let's see, most likely he would include IIHY, Sing favourite but my favourites of his first album are FYE which was played last night on the 'Not 5' show, he liked the brass version; also Fever. ALN is my present favourite, followed by Lucy, TOH.
