Adam didn't actually ditch glam rock altogether; he's still very glamorous and rock oriented; perhaps less theatrical, more polished/modern; like he says, more about himself looking inward, rather than concentrating on the glam outward appearance, as in his FYE concerts of costumes/feathers/makeup. Singing wise, still quite glam but yes, more down-to-earth, contemporary. Well, I call it operatic-pop-rock.
What I see is, he has gained a lot more self confidence; a case in point...instead of feeling disappointed about those huge amount of Sing petitions, he said he felt loved, flattered; I guess the overwhelming counter petitions won the day.

I'm still thinking back about Adam's NYE in Singapore; perhaps I had envisaged a smooth-sailing nonchalant kind of Countdown with fireworks, the usual; turned out quite dramatic; like whisked away from the airport and dressed and behaved like a true blue gentleman on that glamorous Float stage. lwl!
But I know he ain't that true-blue, because beneath that facade, he's as wild as you want him to be. lol! Well, like Adam himself had put in the Sing interview, those wild days may be numbered; Mmm, you'd never know, with Adam. lol!
Hey, Adam, New Nation (50% real news) said you wore slippers ! lol! nothing 'lewd' about those...we wear them to the market. lol!
Okay, jokes aside, you looked very glamorous! and your singing enveloped The Float.
Regarding the t-shirt with The Original High tour destinations, I think you need to include Singapore, as that was where it all started; your segment was more than an hour, the regular tour concerts, about 1 1/2 hours.

Never chop off the head...very bad for feng-shui / luck. lwl! Also, it was a 10,000 Float stadium crowd, a lot more sizable than many of your tour destinations. Not complaining, just wanted to point it out.

"The Original High" is an amazing pop song. Can't wait for it to be the next single, hopefully. I love "The Light" equally, but I look at TOH as his defining song of era3.
