Whoa! 20 songs! The Paramount surround sound projection is very good. He sure feels happy and looks sprightly; maybe he appreciates home more after travelling far and wide...like great to be home again feeling.

He sounds so good. I can't help but think of a little kid in those shorts and knee highes. (My thoughts alone).

I thought sure he'd sing Edelweiss when he appeared in the Sound of Music outfit.......didn't Maria make them from drapes?

I'm SO GLAD he sang These Boys!!! I love that song. It's so peppy and fun. Didn't think he'd ever perform that one onstage but I'm glad he did. Hope he keeps it in the set list. He is sure starting off this tour with a bang.

BTW,I think his outfit is sheer fun. Never a dull moment in the Lambert wardrobe department. He will always surprise us. JAK, I love your comment about the Sound of Music. He could be the Von Trapp family's long lost cousin. Love the long striped socks. Kind of like L.A. lederheusen (or however you spell it). LOL Looks like the US tour will be very fun ride!

Sorry, but IMO, if Adam wants to avoid "bubblegum", that shorts outfit is not the way to do it. Also, it's unflattering...makes him look shapeless, even fat. He has a wonderfully proportioned body, and wears clothes like a model.... but you'd never know it in that outfit.
I hope he at least returns to either of the glitzy outfits he wore for the last third of his earlier TOH concerts. They show off his dancing better, too.

Frankly, I do not think THAT is the BEST IMAGE of Adam to LEAVE in concert goers eyes at the end of a wonderful concert. Cute and fun, maybe, but NOT very classy! Lacks gravitas!

But he's always amazing, and of course, Adam's voice and showmanship is still unequaled. Also, he's a very classy guy!

I'm pretty sure he'll have other outfits on this tour. Can't imagine he'd wear that one all the time. HopI g they'll be some sexy ones ones mixed in with the silly ones. He knows how to get us talking, that's for sure.

@Nanbert, I agree mostly. The outfit itself is kinda fun and could work, but the way he accessorized it made it look dorky. I think the knee socks and those shoes are taking the sexiness out of many stellar songs in the final set. I also worry about Adam twisting his ankles in those shoes as he does turns and move around a lot. Fantastic set list though and stellar vocals!!!

Actually, Gabi, if you'll look back through earlier tours, he was often wearing and dancing in different "platform" shoes then, too. They're just not so apparent with long pants. Evidently, he has worn high platforms often for many years, even pre-Idol, and is pretty sure-footed in them after all this time.

Hated the shorts out fit. But thats Adam he doesnt give a s... He is one out of the box, special. Love his quirkiness, most of all love that voice. Never lets us down.
Did you all read the Review by Sarin Moddle in the NZ Herald "The Wireless" site. It was great. I have been away so not sure if it was here at some point or not, It was a wonderful. well informed piece.
PS JAK Love the "Sound of Music" comment. LOL.
