fluttsp, I think you're right. The original members of Queen did a video in housewife drag to I Want To Break Free. It was hilarious. It caused quite a kerfluffle in the US, I think? It's available on YouTube. Very funny!

And I would love to have Adam come to my house, put on an apron and vacuum by carpet any old time.

O.K., I see now. Re: that housewife drag video by Queen ... I have read that it caused a serious backlash in the very homophobic U.S. at that time.... and Queen was in considerable disfavor in the U.S. for many years... just because of a silly drag video! Imagine!

Actually, as I understand it, Queen only came back into favor in the U.S. again after they "stole the show" at the Iheart Radio Festival broadcast (Nov. 2013 ?) with Adam Lambert--- which led to a "ground swell" demanding a tour by that miraculous collaboration... hence QAL.
And the whole world has certainly enjoyed THAT result!

Never thought I would see Adam vacuuming, ha ha. But I get the idea about the Queen song. Aww Adam sent Sauli BD wishes today.

The "I Want To Break Free" video clip is one of my fave vids of all time - it's such a hoot!!! :-DDD Banned in the US - ridiculous!!! :-(((
