Hi everybody---I just wanted to let you all know that I had such a wonderful trip to Hollywood, Florida, where I stayed three days at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel. Adam performed on Saturday night, March 12TH, at the Hard Rock. What a beautiful show. He is amazing! No longer any sexy dancing, just his wonderful voice and an unbelievable lighting show to back up each song. He started getting sick right after our show, strep throat, I think. I am still on a high from the whole experience. And, that Hard Rock Hotel is so very first class. I cannot wait to return to that beautiful hotel, even if Adam is not performing there. They are building a new building to enhance the Hard Rock Resort and it will be in the shape of a guitar, plus it will be finished in the fall of 2017. I sure hope Adam performs there again in the future. His beautiful, polished, professional show is forever embedded in my brain to take out on a dreary day. Marvelous experience!!! Margarita Lady

Helloo Margarita Lady!
Still on your continuous Adam concert spree; no wonder, didn't hear from you for such a long time. Health is a precious commodity, like you have.
I think he finally grew out of that kind of exaggerated dancing which I happen to be a great admirer of; now, he does the gentlemanly type, may be he can try cha cha oooh-la-la. His two backups, Terrance and Holly add a lot of dance energy to his performances on stage, so he can concentrate on his singing.
When I watched his AI performance, the comparison between him and the other singers came across very starkly; the main difference being his projection technique which he could have honed from his opera training. He literally pushes his voice out, sends it flying right to the back.
The AI singers are actually of a very high standard, but lacking a bit in this special voice throwing power, his inner dragon! lwl!

Hi, I just got back to Pittsburgh... after a trip to Tampa specially for Adam's CLEARWATER concert. My son lives above Tampa and I bought tickets for him and my grandaughter to accompany me.....and become NEW GLAMBERTS.

Well, you all know what happened --- the concert was cancelled! My grandaughter and I were all dressed to leave for dinner before the concert, and waiting for my son to get home from work. I checked out this website (as I had been doing all day because of rumors of Adam's sore throat) and my worse fears came true ...the concert was cancelled!

Only other Glamberts can understand how DEVASTATED I was!!!! THIS WAS NUMBER 1 ON MY BUCKET LIST!!! I'm 83, and that may have been my LAST CHANCE to see a LIVE Adam Lambert concert.

There were no other concerts within driving distance of Pittsburgh, and I can't afford to fly cross country and pay for a hotel room, food, etc., even if I could afford to buy a decent ticket if any are left anywhere. Of course, the concert tickets were promptly refunded -- but the flight costs are lost.

You may say...well, at least you got to visit your family in Tampa... but I had JUST returned from there when Adam suddenly announced his U.S. tour dates, and I had to scramble to get concert and flight tickets. I usually only visit there once or twice a year.

Well, the good news is that Adam was magnificent on American Idol! "Welcome to the Show" was stunning I hope his strep throat is completely healed, but suspect he will be on antibiotics for a few more days, and he should not push his voice too much. Thank goodness he has a few day's break to rest.

I would never have wanted him to take a chance of damaging his voice by performing that Clearwater concert ... even though it was my only opportunity to see him LIVE. Thank goodness for Youtube, at least.

At least I did get to see the Queen and Adam Lambert tour... TWICE... in Philadelphia and Atlantic City... with my sister, who lives in N.J. (between both venues)... a match made in heaven... they're PERFECT together!

So sorry you could not attend Adam's concert with your family. We Glamberts bounce back! To see Adam anywhere, even on youtube or TV, is a thrill!

Thanks for the sympathy, nancdruuu2, you're right, of course. I should stop sniveling, because there were many other Glamberts (and potential Glamberts) that also must have been terribly disappointed.

However, a tiny glimmer of hope lurks in the back of my mind.... considering how successful his TOH tour is, I keep hoping that after the Summer Queen tour (and a bit of a rest) Adam will come back through the U.S. and Canada to some of the many other venues he missed in this round.... EVEN PITTSBURGH!

Fingers crossed...a gal can dream, can't she? It's just that, at 83, I'm running out of time, money, energy...and (probably) good sense! Oh my.

Nanbert, I wish I was rich and could gift you the money to see Adam's TOH concert. I've seen him live with QAL twice (Philly and MSG) and 3 times other, but never got a meet and greet. But the live experience for TOH is so good, it is unlike the other 2 "mini" concerts I saw in Wilkes-Barre. Keep hope alive and dream the dream. Maybe there is a way it could happen!

@NANBERT, I am just crushed for you, and when I heard that the Clearwater show was cancelled, I immediately thought of you. In fact, Adam cut two songs from his set list at our Hollywood, Florida, show on March 12TH. As I stated above, that was the evening he started to get sick. I know how terribly you feel because I, too, had to pay an outrageous fare to Florida and also had to pay over twice the amount for the Hard Rock Hotel, simply because it was Spring Break in Florida. If he would have cancelled our show, I would have been devastated but, of course, I would have lived through it. I hope and pray you get a future chance to see TOH show, so let's keep hope alive and well that things may work out for you..........And, @LAM-MY, how in the world are you? Yes, I know I have been absent from here since January but, with my hectic schedule, I have to sometimes take a break from the computer. However, I never forget about my fellow Glamberts. You all mean a lot to me. Margarita Lady

Thanks everyone, for the comforting words. Understand, though, it's NOT just the cost...I could cover that if I had to. It's just that in Clearwater (Tampa), Philly and Atlantic City I had someone (a relative) to stay with and go to the concerts with. Anywhere else I would have to go completely alone.

However...... I WOULD have an opportunity to meet some Glamberts at the concert!!! Hum-m. I've never actually met one! It would be nice to pal around with someone who wasn't "indulging" me in an old lady's "infatuation". My relatives think I'm a bit off my rocker.

Hi Nanbert ... I'm so sorry your Clearwater concert had to be cancelled & I can sympathize with you ... I can never go to one of his concerts even when he was only 10 miles from where I live. My granddaughter & her boyfriend went & she filled me in on all the wonderful details plus I watched him on Ytube ... her phone gave out so she couldn't even take pics or vids but she made up for it by getting me a QUEEN + Adam Lambert tour book for Christmas plus a beautiful ELVIS gift ... my other guilty pleasure. My husband is from Pittsburgh ... his family are still living there and even he can't travel that far anymore but we keep in touch as often as possible!! Don't give up on ADAM coming back to Pittsburgh ... he might surprise you!! I never thought he'd come to Buffalo but he did!! I'll keep a good thought for you & maybe he will!! Light 'n Love ...
