Yet another article from Mr. Woods!! Why is he even writing any articles about ADAM?? ... it's quite apparent that he has no respect for ADAM's talent!! From here on in I shall by-pass any & all articles by this "dumkopf" ... my nicest word for Mr. Woods ... don't even care if it's spelled correctly ... I think I've made my meaning clear!!

Hi Marion M & Rose Petal ... Thanx for answering Marion M ... I've been using 'dumkopf' for my password for some time not knowing how to spell it ... guess I'll leave it that way I'm having a heck of a time with my PC ... my daughter suggested I buy the book ... 'Computers for Dummies" ... I think I'll do that before I screw up anymore ... glad I brought a smile to you ...

Rose Petal ... I really wanted to say so much more but before I do anything like that I always think these 4 letters .. "WWAD" (What would ADAM do) so I took the least traveled path this time!! This horse's 'patoot' has been dissing ADAM since DAY 1 .... I went to the article & believe me ... there are a lot of others who feel the same way as we do ... made me feel good that so many comments had ADAM's back!! Light 'n Love to you both ..

JMO - I think public opinion and word of mouth always trumps a critic's review. Any good artist should welcome feedback in order to grow and improve, the big problem is the dearth of critics who are truly knowledgeable in their chosen fields and their ability to offer balanced and constructive criticism.Too often they have their own agendas.

One needs to read several opinions of any critic to understand their "schtick". Mikael Wood did a review of the ACM awards show on Sunday that hardly sat well either. His Rolling Stone reviews from 2012 are pretty positive and rather bland cookie cutter reviews. I think when he got the LA Times gig - he decided he had to establish a persona - and chose to "sound" analytical, and in Adam's case - to know and understand Adam's personal and career dynamics better than anyone else. This was very risky but seems to play to his ego, and of course he failed in the attempt. He was more aggressive with Adam because he was very aware of his strong core fan group. Think he likes to go against the grain,as he did in the QAL review,to establish himself as a free thinker. But to go against the grain, one must back it up with good research, knowledge, accuracy, objectivity, and logic. He needs to do his homework.
